  1. Can I get a result for BCNR33022525? Thanks!
  2. No good as a road car, but could be fun for track work etc
  3. In my line of work I get so jack of people who are not prepared to take a little responsability for their own actions... but MSTRshenanigansis 100% industry ombudsmen are there to ensure that people who should take responsability for their own actions don't have to, and this is done by ensuring that even if the company is right, the amount they have to pay to resolve is more than simply paying the customer what they want. Perfect example right here, let's assume this bloke existed despite the fact he is illegally driving an unroadworthy car, and clearly shows that the reason it is illegal for him to drive said car is because his attitude is such that he should not be in control of a OAP's cart with flat batteries. He goes to Ombudsmen, who says "Oh, diddums, there there, here have some tissues, cotton wool, and let us take on that big bad insurance company" They go to the insurance companies complaints and resolutions, who go "Well hey it is illegal for him to drive the car, and it is in an unsafe condition because of his neglect, and he signed an agreement that said under those circumstances he would not be covered, but because he is a F...TARD we will just pay him to go away and pump premiums." One day there will not be someone to hold this blokes hand and the world will come down around his ears.
  4. I love this whole engine and gearbox being life long mating partners thing, do you think they put them all out in a paddock and just wait to see which gearbox shoves it's shaft in the back of which motor??? Serioulsy they all have the same ratios etc, and if there is that much variation in the build process that they need to to be mated up there is a problem... Hypothesis begins: Nissan are aware of potential problems with gearboxes (How could they not be?) so during development they go "hey if there was a pissy little fuse in the gearbox, that were you an upgrading kind of person you would swap for something stronger, would that be a really good way of ensuring we don't cop warranty claims for cars that have been played with?"..... Just putting it out there, Surely if you had a tune and your car was going in for a warranty gearbox you would be resetting back to stock, but you are not going to be able to pull the gearbox apart and remove said clip before Nissan pulls the box apart.....
  5. Wheels and car look Hot Blingtr! Great offset and stance! Thought I already had these up but did not spot them, Here's mine on it's way to an unexpected 12.75@170k
  6. Subaru Liberty Wagon, SHITE LOADS of space, for people, dogs, car parts, comfy, well built, and pretty easy for parts etc. FWD or 4WD available. Most of them come with preinstalled dents, therefore when some MoFo opens a door into it you stand back, laugh at what it did to thier car, and accept that there is one more reason no one will nick your car. (Lock mine about once a month.. only if I have my lunch in it)
  7. No seriously, just fold the back seat down... open the sunroof to keep cool but keep too many peeping toms away.. P.S. 180fan, you in bathurst?
  8. I would have a Stagea again in a heartbeat. The only reason I got rid of it was that I spent too much money doing up an old Subaru Wagon, and only bought Stag as a fill in (Hindsight would have torched the Subaru, and just bought the Stag) Plus a condition of me getting a GTR was that it would be my 1 good car... Downsides: *Fuel economy which can be made alot better with ecu tune, 20l/100 in town 12l/100 highway (standard Auto series 1) *Small brakes *Manuals are hard to find, and the auto contributes to fuel usage Upsides *Space *Comfort *Value *Performance (after 60k/h) *Features *Lack of attention they draw *Shock *Handling *Sunroofs (would never buy one without dual sunroofs) *Insurance for what you get Some truths from owning one, Parts are piss easy to get (If you ever need them, which is less often that an aussie POS) Take your VIN to Nissan dealer, order part. Or come on her and get in contact with this massive support network and get your parts The money you spend on fuel, (Not much less than a Falcadore anyway) You save in what you get for your money DO NOT BUY A CHEAP ONE WITH A LOW ODOMETER Get used to saying "No it is a 300hp turbo Nissan, but yes it does look like a Volvo" Quick Summary and possibly inaccurate Series 1 96-98 RB25DET 4 speed auto or 5 speed manual- Fog Lights and Headlights in one unit Series 2 98-02 RB25DET NEO 4 speed auto with tiptronic setup, 5 speed manual- Fog lights seperate in grill. Neo engine is apparently a heap better on fuel than above example Autech 260RS R33 GTR wagon All are designated C34- as they are actually based on the Cefiro (waits for flaming if incorrect) M35 2002-2007 check the Stagea Forum ***PLEASE NOTE I DO NOT GUARENTEE THE ACCURACY- BUT I STILL F-ING LOVED MY STAG IF THE INFO IS ACCURATE OR NOT*** (Got my car at 112k, got rid of it at 160k, at which point it needed new CV boots and an auto service, in the time I had it I replaced Fuel, Oil, Coilpacks and Tyres)
  9. Is that one of them Dildo Gearknobs???? P.S. HOT WAGON I still miss my Stag, but the missus would loose her S#!7 at the mention of another car.....
  10. Seeing as you have gone to the trouble of digging this up.... The way you launch with a twin plate will depend on the car. With mine, to achieve a little bit of mechanical sympathy, I rolled into the beams nice and early, held the handbrake, eased the pedel up until revs started to drop (just idling, get in early so plently of time) then I put the clutch back in a bit so it is not dragging, Peg the limiter, when the lights go slip the clutch real quick. Doing this the car will sit down, then spin the rears, then go full 4wd and take off like a scalded cat. It doesn't bang the way a clutch dump does, but I was still running 1.6 60ft with crappy road tyres and FULL trim, in the photos it looks like it just about lifts front wheels.
  11. From a report I read in HP, CroMo tubular subframes.... But again, Carbon Body panels
  12. Cop car was the other suggestion I made when we found the marks... Have tried various forms of GTR pace car in google with not much luck, (like to use 3 seconds of my own time first) so still keen to know if anyone has info.. thanks..
  13. Bit of an odd question and think some of the people who show up in this thread may be able to help: Can anyone shed some light on how the light bars were mounted to the GTR pace cars? Would it have required repair work in 2 spots either side of the roof? Is anyone aware of if there was a V-spec II being used as one in Japan? My car has clear signs of repair work in identical spots either side of the roof, but only about 20cmx10cm, and if there has been any other repair work done it was of a par higher quality than that on the roof, also appears to have had bonnet catches, harness, but no cage, has a lot of other reliabilty and handling bits, but not much go fast... Oil cooler, Braided brake lines and clutch line, adjustable castor rods with Tie rod ends, Nismo strut braces, and underbody braces... I know it seems like a very Noob question (having heard people talk about how their mate bought a WRX, but Subaru accidently built it in a WRC shell [must have been shipped from prodrive accidently and accidently slipped onto the produtcion line] etc) and that is why it has taken a while for me to ask, but it just keeps nagging me
  14. I would be all for an R32 club, or even just a subforum for now, Yes an R- series forum probably would work too, but let's face it, SAU at this stage is pretty much 90% R-series, with Stagea, R35, classic and V-series so they do not get lost amongst all of the R33 GTsT stuff.....
  15. Car seems legit, but I just don't trust businesses with websites an excellent reputation they would tarnish by touching a car like this, Sorry will be getting my car from Porn jap imports
  16. Hey mate, don't listen to all these naysayers, with their big words and stuff. After a 2009 R35, Black, in black, talk to me

  18. Schooools out for Summer Schools out for Ever Probably a good idea to check if your audience is a bunch of window lickers without access to the internet before you come onto a forum assuming you are the one and only source of knowledge on there....
  19. How bout you just do sketch in paint of what it looks like then put that up, infact.... And if you are keen to sell you could probably edit to the right colour or something, or maybe start from scratch, but personally I think this is a good start
  20. There seems to be a business or 2 who could learn from this.... Respect, if I ever have the priveledge of spending money on my car it will go to businesses who support this Forum.
  21. Cheers, it had me thinking as well, soon as I saw Polo I face palmed
  22. I BELIEVE Fiat Uno and Toyota Corolla (some jap variant[or Japanese in the new 100% polically correct world])
  23. I am not particularly up with whats a good time at tracks, But just how is this thing looking compared to a Taxi? And would a gtr with the freedoms of taxi racing be too different (Anyone who feels like pointing out that a gtr built to those specs would have a 5litre pushrod V8 and live axle, I an not asking how a Taxi would go compared to a Taxi) I have long wondered just what would happen if a GTR was built to similar guidelines.. How much would we beat them by now?
  24. If they put Braile on regular drive through ATMs this would have never happened
