  1. Easiest way the change sparkplugs in a Cougar is to buy a skyline
  2. I owned this car from 107k until about 125 or so, was the first Aussie owner. It was stock bar the exhaust when I sold it. Was a great car and drove like new, also has a set of Splitfire coils in it. I was sad to see it go but a GTR beckoned..
  3. Or maybe it's becuase no-one else was racing, because it was a CRUISE on PUBLIC ROADS..... Oh, and cool Stary Bra... Is this why we keep the door locked on the NA section?
  4. I have an R32, and I have never questioned that had I been buying a car for a bit of fun and performance I would have bought an Evo. I wanted an R32 V-spec II, and this is the only reason I went that way. Cost, reliability, performance, handling, condition... all of these things go the Evo's way IMO
  5. 40kmh school zones etc I am all for, 100 (even 110) on some highways is a joke. Todays cars (even 10 year old cars) are more than capable of cruising along at 130+. The weakest link is the driver, and IMO 110 or 130 will get muppets in trouble, plenty of people that can have a healthy accident in a car park prove this.
  6. Just make sure you are always driving away from the sun, but everyone knows that.
  7. A pair of steel turbos are worth keeping an eye out for, the motors are pretty strong things but they have copped a hammering, make sure compression is good, look after it and you should be ok. I have done turbos and a waterpump on mine, they also have a bit of a weakness where the front of the exhaust cam wears out and the ignition timing will walk. they are just a motor, but a higher percentage have had a hard time than others. They are a joy to own, there is nothing would make me give mine up
  8. I feel Great Wall is a brand that has come a long way and could easily be the equivelent to the HangOver Evoque, what do you think Sammygee?
  9. If there is no water on the temp sensor, it will not show as overheating... hate to put a dampner on things.. but I would be checking that out..
  10. V-spec IIs are begging to be bought at the moment... What a steal..
  11. Was in a Legnum going to WTAC yesterday, was quite happy keeping up with an evo 8, both were boggers and the legnum had 2 extra people in it. I had a Stag, and came close to buying a 260 not long ago, but the legnum was impressive... How about an M35 Stag? More grunt than a 260, better on fuel, better looking... and the list goes on..
  12. Whats the rumor about Cyber accusing Sierra Sierra of running naws? great pits etc but on track was boring as bat shit. 10 mins of nothing, cars go out, 2 mins red flag, repeat. Drifting started great, then went the same way. Seemed like no-one knew what was happening out there..
  13. Based on the date of the photos I am guessing this will do 88mph...
  14. Only issue I had was the location of the overflow and and the size of it, my fan went to town on my JJR radiator and still didn't hole it. Will be replacing eventually, probably with another JJR one.
  15. Cool story brah, great thread will read again. P.S. Just logged onto the satellite, please put some pants on while reading the forum
  16. Can vouch for that.... Seemed to run ok, no missing etc, just only had about 100hp. Electrical is where my money is...
  17. The first thing I did was decide what message I wanted my plates to convey, then started looking at what fit. So I wanted to say it was a GTR, an R32 and a VspecII, so I ended up with ZLA32V. So what do you want your plates to tell people? Otherwise there are thousands of options... BT1 34 2NV 2SIK4U
  18. Doesn't sound quite right.. But seeing as no-one has gone with the good old coils options, I will. Open the bonnet and take the coil cover off, see if there are sparks coming off the coils onto the cam covers. Maybe swap AFMs, cleaning them is not a great idea.
  19. Fix 1, spend all that time and effort putting it back together, then have the other turbo let go, and pull it all apart again?? You can keep that job... Seriously just fix them both..
  20. Check rare skyline thread the last page has some examples was a Scuderia
  21. And DEEYYYNN?
  22. Check the badge on the back of a first gen Liberty, exactly the same drivetrain as any current Subaru (most of the parts can be directly swapped) but the badge reads 4WD... All Wheel Drive is nothing more than an INCREDIBLY well done marketing campaign by Subaru to seperate their vehicles from Patrols and other such tractors (the only place 4WD was considered the norm). The AWD vs 4WD comparison would mean the Landcruisers/Prados are AWD... Fact is Subarus will also quite happily only drive 2 wheels too..
  23. Sure hope it's enough to reach 88mph
  24. So if a GTS4 is All Wheel Drive, and a GTR is 4WD, how many wheels does a GTS4 have, and given the GTR is only driving 4 of it's wheels (not all) which ones is it not driving?
  25. Can vouch for condition, neat well looked after and loved bike
