  1. Engine oil - Motul 300 V Chrono G/box oil - Redline shockproof < This stuff is truly liquid gold! Couldn't be happier with it
  2. Tipping that if the owner can spend that kind of money on a car. $150 parking fine would be peanuts.
  3. Very nice!
  4. Ended up getting the 24-70... amazing lens. I got a great price that I just couldn't say no to.
  5. Black R34 GTR @ RE Customs... looked completely original (on the outside at least) and Immaculate.
  6. Yep. I wasn't sure if you saw me.
  7. Might help if you at least said what car you have, mods etc? Your questions is pretty vague so the answers will be vague also
  8. White 33 GTR, white street Parkdale about 3:30pm. Looked clean
  9. ^ Fk that. .. Try a website called ebay.
  10. Yeah that makes sense. Spent gtr's are a dime a dozen and thats why there are so many cheap ones. But if you havent got the cash they need to have spent on them you will end up with an expensive paperweight like so many people have. When I was in japan I saw an R32gtr selling for $42kAUD sitting next to R34gtr for $40k. Clean ones cost money and are highly desirable in japan... the ones nobody wants go to auction.
  11. The rear wiper is standard on an R32 gts-t A door automatically locking itself is not normal. It may be part of the alarm system the car has installed... For example I know someone with a mercedes C-class and after you start the car and drive off the doors lock themselves (I assume to reduce chance of car jackin) so I think some aftermarket alarms you can have a similar feature installed.
  12. The Nikon 3100 is a great camera but the lens it comes with is pretty average not sure on the Canon but like most people have said you would be wise to also buy a 50mm lens like this: http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/5014af.htm Then you will be able to take some great shots... I think you will find once you put the 50mm on you won't bother with the lenses that came with the camera at all.
  13. Yes I did note that he said stock and in most cases, stock 32 gtr's are actually worth more! $10.5k is a low price for a 32gtr and a glance at carsales will show you there are none lower than that in victoria at the moment. 32gtr's have a large range in price from $10.5k to $50k for an AUS version... What I also know is that there a number of rubbish gtr's (generally the same cheap ones we are talking about) that have been imported to Australia... i know this because I went and looked at a bunch when I originally wanted to buy one a few years back. I would never buy a 32gtr for $10 - $15k unless I was planning a rebuild etc because otherwise you are just buying an expensive headache rather than a cheap sports car... I can't count the amount of horror stories I have heard
  14. Actually thats exactly what it is. Where the hell are you looking at cars? Regardless of that, cheap GTR's like that are generally cheap for a reason
  15. $10.5k for a GTR... wow. I'll bet thats a great example
  16. Hey mate, Thanks for the reply. I know that there are other zoom lenses that have a constant aperture of 2.8 but none of them seem to be quite as highly rated. I know that the Nikon 24-70 is expensive but I would rather spend a bit and get as good a lens as I can. I have seen them on ebay for around $1,700 - $1,800. I'll see how I go though
  17. Hi guys, I have been interested in photography for sometime and always wanted a nice camera so I finally got around to getting a Nikon D300 and now need to purchase the all important lens. The reason I am looking at a Nikon AF-S 24-70mm f/2.8 is because it is so versatile and would pretty much cover all the photo's I could hope to take (for now anyway... I will probably get a 50mm f/1.4 down the track). What I was hoping for was some feedback from people who have used the 24-70. I know that its a full frame lens and that my camera is not but I am not too bothered because my main attraction is that it can hold f/2.8 across the entire range! Also I know that the lens is big and heavy (the photo below says all) but that is not of concern to me, only its performance. Cheers This is the review that I read: http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/24-70mm.htm
  18. No worries
  19. It was a good read! Not sure where they got their claimed 0-60mp/h times though... For the GTR it says 5.6sec.... Its significantly quicker than that stock.... I think the article below is a bit more accurate: (GTR 0-100km/h - 4.8sec)
  20. Thankyou for posting. This is my type of article!
  21. Nissan all the way... First car which I inherited: Then I bought this: Then I bought this (my current car):
  22. I too hoard photo's, so ask and you shall receive: Interior: Engine bay: Exterior:
  23. Cheers! Yeah I love them... and the car for that matter. I took it out today just to drive it and it still puts a smile on my face like it did the first time I drove it
  24. Have you checked all your fuses? The traction control not working could simply be the previous owner taking the fuse out or it could have blown? *Edit - If problem persists buy a GTR
