After 6 months of being stuffed about by people, its finally going. Short story, built a shit hot 3L, ended up having a bent crankshaft, slogged all the bottom end bearing to bits and made a big mess. Scrapped that idea, and just dropped a S1 25DET in, all stock for now, will slowly build it up. The built 3L The 25 b4 the wiring job

Join the club mate, I have had the same problem with mine since I did the turbo conversion on the 25de, and just about replaced everything. AFM is next tho as its the only thing I didnt replace when I did the conversion. Even splitfires didnt make a difference, tried different ecu's with different maps etc, still no luck

Righto, heres the story, car hesitates and pops (not misses) thru the exhaust when it comes onto full boost. I have noticed that if you pull over and restart the car it goes away for a while. I have replaced plugs, tried all sorts of gaps, just installed splitfires and the problem wont go away. At this stage im thinking ignitor pack, as it only used to do it after a day or so of hard driving, now its all the time. Its definantly a spark problem, I have also installed a bosch 040 as I thought it was fuel related, but that made no difference. Any ideas fellas??

Mine has stock 25det ecu, all the AFR's on the dyno were perfect. Should be fine for low boost applications

For anyone interested in doing this conversion, I made 210rwkw and 475nm on Dr drifts dyno today @ 9psi with stock injectors, stock ecu & stock R31 fuel pump, cooler and high flow t3/4

Nissan didnt use a BOV on the redtop 20's, and I know of PLENTY of people who are still running the stock turbos on 12+ psi on these engines, so, really its up to you. I dont run a BOV on my 25, and im not going to, dont listen anyone who feeds you the bullshit 'its gonna blow your turbo' story, cause it doesn't.

Im gonna run 10, thats my absolute limit. Im running 6.5 atm, car spools nicely. Its weird having it on boost at around 2200rpm, then thinking, gee this is pulling hard, then that weird ass top end power comes on and your off twice as hard. Great fun
