  1. There are R35 only meets every month in Melbourne with 10+ R35's every time. In fact there is one tonight and also one on Saturday.
  2. Test fitted the rear bar and rear stone tray last night. And started on the side skirts.
  3. The only difference between 09 and 10 is the following as Wardski said above " They're not that much more in the scheme of things, but the 2010 has USB, iPod support, and Satnav. The 2009 has none of these features stock." If the upgraded MFD tickles your fancy for the extra $ then go for it but if you think you are getting an upgraded gearbox for the extra $ then your misinformed.
  4. No. They are the same. 2008 JDM models had a higher RPM launch control which may have caused issues but ADM models never had that LC program. Most R35's today have upgraded LC to LC5 anyway which is a more refined and controlled version of the software. The physical parts inside the trans are no different. I have not pulled apart a 2013 or 2014 model yet but I hardly think they would bother changing anything at the end of the model run.

    Gtr Scam

Also a potential answer to the question is that Ford traded your car for next to nothing because of a 47k invoice for repairs from Nissan, they then took it to a competent workshop who bought a new trans for 15k they then swapped the old trans for the new one in around 3hrs as that is all it takes and by lunchtime they had it back on the lot ready for sale and it technically has never been launched. Honestly that is all to easy. And all the talk of trans mated to engines is garbage too.

    Gtr Scam

I want to clarify a couple of points here. If Nissan told you that the shift fork broke and it's to high in the gearbox to see well that is complete and utter garbage. If they had the valve body out then the shift forks are staring them in the face, right there you can move them with your fingers. If the selector broke it would fall on your damn face when you removed the valve body. I can't believe that is what they would say. It is possible that the broken part could have jammed the selector pistons and that is why you had no even gears. Once the broken piece fell out and all fluids were replaced and a clutch relearn was performed it is possible that the car could still drive and shift with 1/2 to 3/4 of a fork. It's not good but potentially it could still shift. Almost all R35 trans issues can be fixed for under 5K including parts and labor, that includes trans fluid as well. There is nothing to fear here. A selector fork is a little harder but you will definitely still get away well under 10k. I have a complete R35 trans on the shelf here I would have changed over for you for under 10k. These prices are out of control, you can't go to Nissan it's just not worth it.
  7. Trans issues are identical in all year R35's the gearboxes have not changed at all.
  8. Honestly it is now looking like how the car should have when it rolled out of the factory. In the next week some 3 piece forged wheels from www.facebook.com/nutekwheelsaustralia are arriving at 20x11 front and 20x13 rear. Other pics and progress shots are on https://www.facebook.com/zoomgarage the car will be on display at Motorex in a few weeks.
  9. Here are some other shots This is a shot showing how wide the front guards are compared to the stock side skirt.
  10. The first plan was to make some front guards that would fit the rear wheels but we ended up going a little wider. This is a rear wheel on the front with a 15mm spacer and it still has around 5mm of room left.

  12. It's been a while since I have posted here so I thought I would share with the broader community my current build. As you know I have had this 35 for over 4 years now and it was time to shake it up a little. This is how the car was a few months ago. FBO E85 trim.
  13. Come on Ash "Maybe because it wouldn't let people continue to avoid SAU Trader fees?" That's a bit rough. We are all friends and no one is trying to advertise or make money off our group. We share information only. If we have stuff to sell we sell like any other page. It's just the ease of use of Facebook vs an online forum, simple as that.
  14. Time to ban GT-R OZ, he comes across as a cock sucking moron
