well ive decided to get a stock series 2 with the standard double din setup and then replace it with an aftermarket tv dvd type setup.does anyone know where id get a satnav system that can be setup under the seat etc and conects to the screen in dash .???????????????????????????

thanks guys for the info. id love to get my hands on a satnav unit tho and try to mod it so i can use the ac controls like in the pic i posted but i dont want to buy a s2 with one in it if i cant set it up like i want it i may as wel buy a s2 with the standard setup is a shame tho i recon it would look great with a afta market double din tv screen unit and the gauges plus the aircon controls on the side.would be different hey

sat nav is a double din radio controls are under that a single din ac controls are beside the satnav http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/index.php?ID=6085 this one has what im trying to describe

ok here we go.im going to get me a stagea and have been looking at the ones with the satnav system.i know the satnav is usless here but im looking at prob replacing it with a double din setup.and looking at it in the pics posted by jspec it seems to be a standard double din size with the ac controls next to it.if this is the case i would be able to put a double din radio or a standard one and a dvd setup as well as have room for a gauge setup like andy has. so looks like i could fit 3 standard din items as well as the ac controls. well i spose ive confusled ya all now lol but im sure one of you know what i mean . thanks all regards mike..........

thanks guys for the input 101 seem a better deal as all i do is pick up a registerd car localy in nsw no headaches with rego transport etc.they handle it from start to finish.plus i know up front exactly it will cost me on the rd.

hi guys. i know that we have a brake section on here but i havent seen any info on the series 2 pads front and rear.as im getting a series 2 soon i want to get an idea how much the pads will cost and if they have been found localy or not.im going to keep mine stock as poss because its going to be a daily driver for the missus id like to get a spare set to have on the shelf so i dont have to wait for parts if i need them . regards mike..........

id say its probably eurathane and id say try prepsol if not ask the local panel beater. you have to be carefull with the paint as mek may react with the duco.

im not atacking anybod here im just stating facts am i the only one here that is willing to share things rather than make a buck from everybody.im sorry there are a few of us here regards mike.................
