recommendations on who to call for a quote on transport of a damaged car to NSW ? What should i expect to pay ?

1. s2 33gts4 kr4 silver almost complete car, just missing some interior and body panels. shell damaged, cannot be used - all the runing gear + lots more there. $1500 2. 4x114.3 19" dished wheels in good condition, minor gutter rash, as ussual. $900 with 3 brand new tyres and 1 is 50% tread. 97 r33 s2 manual tailshaft, diff and complete rear brake setup. $350

complete 33 s2 gts4 manual running gear. even has suspension, brakes...everything. all still in a (damaged) shell. listed at $2k on gumtree, SAU make an offer just want it gone.

Lets agree to disagree. Besides, if we all drove the same cars, wheres the fun in that ? Definetly will have a write-up on it. Yes, a budget project only because i have a huge ammount of parts already that i can use on it. If i had to buy from scratch...no way.

All better, agreed. However, if you read my previous posts, I would not choose this platform to modify in the first place if i had funds, and not buying a house. So, thats where the SR20 idea is coming into play now: - 4cyl - cheaper to run & maintain - z32 box adapter to sr20 readily avaliable (so cheap)and the box will hold up fine to abuse. - Car itself still looks ok and modern-ish - Still has faily large aftermarket support. All i would get would probably be some suspension mods, besides the standard cooler/zorst. I know its not ideal to have an 4cyl in it for the weight, but i dont have much of a choice with my budget. Car would be a daily, and weekends up in the hills. As for, why not keep VG30dett, well i dont have tools/knowladge to work on it with those space constraints, so this would fix that prob. Not looking at breaking any records with speed/handling, just want a cheap turbo car - while trying something different to your 1 million skyline/silvias around...In my opinion, with little weight reduction, suspensions mods and hopefully around 200rwkw from the SR, this could be a fun hills/daily car.

Leaning more towards an sr20 now. Saves ~150kg compared to a VG30.

car would definetly get a vented carbon bonnet for cooling + weight reduction.
