Funnly enough, only last night me and the mrs were googling our names, and my jaw dropped what came up. Some websites (1 was peeeepl.com or sumthing) pretty much summarise all the info on the web avaliable about you in one place. Freaked the shit out of me. But yeh, i live by the "better be safe then sorry rule".

Lack of tools, knowledge and space to work on the engine. Also maintenance costs. With little weight reduction, the z32 is not too much hevier then the S chassis either.

Keep in mind this is a budget daily project only, because im low on cash, but have spare parts. Otherwise i wouldnt be choosing to modify this platform... So at this stage its either a sr20 300 or a corolla lol...

The more i read about it, the more im liking. I could keep the z32 box - so no need for custom tailshafts etc, just an adapter plate and new mounts for the motor. In my opinion, most cost effective sawp for sure ! Car would be a daily, and in the hills on the weekend, so might work out really well...

I would consider that, but being my daily and the way they hand out defects lately in SA, no chance. Might have to consider the..SR20 lol.

I would get a front facing plenum. Im more worried about the cam gear cover. This is a rb26/30 in a z32, explains what i mean... And i really wouldnt want to have a bulge on the bonnet either...

Hey guys, long story short, i have a spare 33 gts4 engine/5speed. Ran across rbz32.com and got me thinking about a rb30det swap into one. My only concern is bonnet clearnece with the 30 block. I know that the 25/26 are fine, but 30 being taller..? Has anyone done this, or can find any other info besides rbz32.com that could help me out ? I think it might be a real fun car to drive...

Looking at ordering some CF cloth to muck around and try make some parts for my car. Been doing quite a bit googling but dont have any solid answers. Anyone have any references (sites/pics/etc) for the difference between 1K, 3K, 6K, 12K etc as to how they look in real life. What is better, twill or plain, which K rating etc. A price guide - where to buy in aus or order from o/seas. In a nutshell, looking for a CF-101 sort of site. Any of you guys tried doing some DIY parts ? Prefered method of injecting resin ? Pics ? Thanks !
