  13. mate on a hydralic lifter varies put it onto the dyno and see where your power drops out but dont rev it over 8500 if you want the lifters to last longer rev no more then 8000 if you run solid lifters 9500 rpm
  14. mate i stand by them all the way next year im running the lt16 for my r33 speaking to john about it honestly all ecus are the same once you have some good at tuning them all but the microtech is the far easiest and cheapest to run once you know what ur doing
  15. the microtech contols the air con or idle air & stuff like thermos etc you can also run a 2 step off it but you will need to let microtech know when you order to customize it

  17. maybe if your runing 1600cc injectors we have vls running 1000cc injectors getting around 300 kms of Normal driving and besides that any car with injectors bigger then 850 cc isnt really great with emissions if you are needing any injector more then 850 cc id perfer to run motec,haltech,hydra or autronic anyways

  19. You will need to send the ecu back to microtech and get it setup which is easy done saving changing wires the loom is the same And we charge $1650 supplied fitted and tuned for the lt12s plug n play

The problem with getting poor economy,Bad cold starts,Driveablity problems is to do with poor tuning ive got microtechs in alot of EVERYDAY DRIVEN STREET CARS and they seem to start straight away no problems and still get 400 kms out of a tank making around 400 rwhp my advice is to tune more into them or DO THE MICROTECH TECH cause to learn about them The only problem with microtechs is that too many people think they know what they are doing with them but they dont Have everyone played with wide open throttle maps and cruise maps ........... ive had customers from other shops walk into mine saying i wanna change ecus cause the microtechs shit bla bla bla i get it on my dyno and tune it and the customer comes back in a week with a smile on his face. Whoever has a microtech and has anyproblems just tell your tuner to do more tuning on it.They are the way to go A AFM ecu and a map ecu can have the same fuel economy and tuning points but i choose the map sensor cause i can accuatly tune invidual boost rpm points and also the microtech plug n play installed and tuned is around $1600 if you pay more then this you are getting overcharged
  21. hello sorry everyone tnt are tracing the brakes,plenium and Slimvlts parts all three packages are traced to the depos ill ring everyone 2morrow afternoon and let them know where everything is first time this has happened
  22. mate make sure you take it to a bloke that knows about cams and heads other wise you will end up snaping cams,valves, valve springs etc the tommie buckets compensate the high lift and duration i wouldnt use tommie springs i found they bind
  23. whos your tuner ask him what he perfers if your tuning it go the microtech its easier
  24. mate everyone seems to bag mircotech i can say there the cheapest and easiest computers to use and if you know how to tune them they work unreal i use them in most of my customers cars along with haltech,hydra,motec & autronic i dont use the power fc to me they are a cheap rubbish afm ecu that should be thrown in the bin
