Hey Guys chasing some 20mm wide guards for a 32... where in sydney (preferred but not only) makes decent quality guards? dont feel like paying $500 for genuine guards which are only going to be broken anyways. Have looked at GTR guards but cant find any well priced. cheers Brenton

so I decided to clean up my garage a little... needs to get outta my house now. found I have a heap of left over bits: R32 A/C setup incl compressor, lines, cans, condensor- $150ono Saber 600x300? intercooler- decent condition may need a flush- $100ono Go Fast Bits blow off valve- used for maybe 6 month if that on my RB- $100, pretty sure its the Mach 1 Rb20 engine loom- $30 RB25 standard plenum and crossover etc- $50 RB fuel rail-$20 pretty sure i have a power steering pump from an rb20 and a heap of other bits laying around too. PICS can be mms sent if required... otherwise will eventually get to a computer not an i phone and load them. located in Sydney near cronulla

Agreed dick you are as I paid 1495 delivered through cartel/ Varrstoen Australia a month ago. They were on a gtst but imagine would sit pretty well on a Gtr just not as flush

Fuel Lots of tyres A smile for the camera and the pretty ladies watching you Seems people get so caught up on what is done to all the high end cars and forget to go out and give it a go. I started in my first 32 years ago with a shimmed diff and a set of coilovers. best time of my life, spent plenty of money on fuel, entry fees and tyres then went and bought a seat and camber arms etc later on as I improved and found the need. Sinista: was looking for some insight into possibly why the price difference as the exxy tuner did seem to know his shit and have heard good things.... however for double the price Im struggling to justify the cost. Beer Baron: the $600 cost tuners have both quoted around 4-5 hours dyno time... for the expensive tuner to be justifying a $1200 tune as most tuners charging anywhere between $140 and $170 per hour, I would expect him to be spending a minimum of 7 hours on the dyno.... honestly i struggle to see how it will take this long for this kind of set up. Although I was impressed and the workshop is very clean etc etc Im struggling lol

yeah the above mentioned car really isnt anything out of the ordinary. 3 other reputable tuners have quoted around the $500-$600 mark incl cold start tune.... just seemed a little much to me

yeah agreed and have had a few tuners play with mine.... most i have ever paid was with JEM years back and i think that was $800 for a tune with a link ECU

A friend of mine had a quote from a sydney based tuner recently and seemed really exxy to me. have never paid more than $600 for a tune through unigroup, he was quoted approx $1200 for a full tune. Apparantly the tuner sounded great to deal with, asked a lot of questions etc and seemed to know what he was on about., but to me that seems a bit mental. computer in car has previously been tuned for: a stock rb25 with walbro fuel pump front mount 3.5in exhaust boost controller. car now has: forward plenum bigger turbo sard reg bigger throttle body Thoughts?

your 9 +22 will have 4mm less clearance on the inner than a 9.5 +12 dude a 9 +12 offset will have 10mm more clearance than you currently have and will sit 10mm further than yours at the moment. believe it or not a 235 is actually close to reccomended for a 9.5 and really isnt much of a stratech at all. currently running 215/45 on my 9s happily.
