  1. maybe he's not such a bad bloke after all If he rocks up to the opening and wants to be the one cutting the ribbon he's i bigger wanker than i thought.
  2. What car is it out of interest? Also who is doing the tuning at TT?
  3. When i rang Ryan to find out what was going on he pulled out the old line, "i've sold heaps of these and i have never had anyone have a problem with fitting them". i even sent him pictures but never got a reply. If the brackets had fit then the piping would have fit, but the R33 have a thermo fan infront of the air-con' heat exchanger which ment that the bracket were to short. I then had to cut the shroud around that fan and make up longer brackets that sat the inter-cooler further forward which then ment that the piping was too short. The drivers side piping was also on the wrong angle where it went through the guard below the washer bottle. With my 180 i made up my own piping which although it took a bit longer and was more expensive (it was $505 for everything as opposed to $300 + the extras which i think was $150 for the ISC kit) it fit better and being stainless it looks better and will always be the way i will go with my own cars. Although i might try and make my next piping up out of aluminium.
  4. I fitted an ISC kit to one of my mates R33 and it was a pain in the ass. None of the bracket fitted and the drivers side piping was no where near close to fitting. the passangers side was close to fitting but did need to be modded. In the end i made up my own brackets, cut the pipes and bought two extra silicone fittings it it fit then. I think it was sold as an R32/33 kit and it definatley didn't fit an r33.
  5. Thanks Guys I have a few options now so this thread can be locked.
  6. Hello All, Just wondering is anyone is driving back from Melbourne in the next 2 weeks? I have a diff that needs to be picked up in Edithvale which is 40km south east of Melbourne City Centre. If someone can help me out there's $150 in it for them. Thanks Dale P.S. Alternatively, If anyone knows of a courier that will pick up a 45kg item from a residential address without having an account with them let me know.
  7. Cheers thanks
  8. Ok well i just bought it on Ebay so i'll send the payment through now so it has cleared in time. Let me know if he can pick it up and i'll get the address to him.
  9. edithvale, Victoria, Australia When is he coming back?
  10. Is anyone in or going to Melbourne and is willing to pick up a diff for me and bring it back to Adelaide??? Reward paid in Alcohol.
  11. Just heard from the GSR EVO Club Committee Re; Timers. They want a $500 deposit on top of the hiring cost which i will cover (I think next time the SAU:SA club can cover the finances and i'll just organise it, if they want to offer them), They also want a form signed accepting liability for any damage. I will get 13 copies of the form that i will sign and everyone that used a timer will have to sign it so if any damaged is caused to the timers the user will be up for the replacement cost.
  12. don't need to, Implanon baby.
  13. The timer money will be paid on the day. I'll cover the money when i pick up the timers and you guys can repay me when you get the timers, SO DON'T PULL OUT
  14. every couple of session it will have to be swapped with someone that has a working Cig' Lighter outher wise it won't last the whole day
  15. Munro, The timers have a built in battery which will last for a few sessions so you don't need a cig' lighter outlet for them to work.
  16. Well that's the 12 then. There is one place available if someone wants lukes and he will use his own. Aberax Destroy semislickR32 Tangles / writeoff (Share) Scandyflick BIT SUS Krishy 4dr taxi man HELSLO Josh (What's his username) Heslo Heslo's +1
  17. I'm sorry to say that you will lose, they don't need to listen to us as we are a minority. If we were a majority they wouldn't be in power. Besides, there's nothing to fight for now. John Russo said that the consortium will be withdrawing the money of labour won the election as they have wasted to much so far. So we will never have a motorsport park.
  18. If the O2 sensor is working and the ECU is going into closed loop then look at the fueling, a blocked fuel filter will lean out mixtures as the fuel pressure in the rail will be lower. Just out of interest does the techedge O2 sensor have a narrowband output signal?
  19. Timer Last; Aberax Destroy semislickR32 Tangles / writeoff (Share) Scandyflick BIT SUS Krishy 4dr taxi man HELSLO Josh (What's his username) Did Luke Heslo want a timer as well? I thought that he had his own
  20. How perfect it this letter, it covers all the points perfectly. Mind you he is a jouro so he'd want to be able to write a letter. Some Funnies Kristian posted on NS; http://www.27bslash6.com/5pm.html http://www.27bslash6.com/guaranteed.html
  21. Oh F*#K, here we go. Now that they are looking at taking licences off "hoons" (What ever they are as it still isn't defined); not only now do we not get a motorsport park, none of us will have a licence.
  22. probably shouldn't use the word stall, With Compressor design/operation stall means something else.
  23. This is compressor surge, full load compressor surge is what kills turbos. As has been said, once the TB has been closed to only load that the compressor will see is due a pressure wave bouncing back and forth through the intake tract (where the flutter noise comes from, it differs from what you will hear below) and as well as inertial. This is due to there being minimal turbine flow. I think that with MAF based ECU's that a lot of the reason BOV's were fitted was because of emissions. This is highlighted by the early versions for some common engines (RB20, CA18, etc) not being fitted with BOV's but by the 90's when emission became tighter then BOV's began springing up on almost all turbo'd variants.
  24. Are you planning to track the car? If so, go for some QFM pads if not then Lucas pads are good value, you can get them from Enfield brake and clutch.
  25. What car is this for, if it is a skyline they really are very simple. If you want give me $20 and i'll show you how they are done so you don't have to pay $20 ever again (although a workshop would charge you 3 times that).
