  1. Where they dialed in?
  2. The difference is going from the standard RB20/25 over the top intake manifold to a front facing manifold then there would be gains to be had, but Luke's manifold is a GTR manifold and there are plenty for GTR's making up to insane amounts of power still using the factory GTR manifold. The Greddy and hypertune manifolds will give you slight increases in the top end when you are making massive amounts of power but you will be getting this gain at the cost of low down and midrange power, and like SLED said your only talking 20-30HP gains on a 700HP engine but your are losing like 80HP below 5000rpm
  3. Ok so this is where we are at; 1. Ryno 2. rhys- 3. 08r3308 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. Not sure, this one is a bit slow to start so it depends how this one goes in the end.
  4. And i have just replied to a PM from Ruby so between the 3 of you someone can have it for $170 i'll let you guys sort out who gets it. If Chad can't help you out Luke, i have a bloke who does my welding and he is an Aerospace certified welder (i'e he certified to weld planes and such) he had a full time business doing mainly stuff for mines but fits me in when ever i need something delicate done ( i have a MIG for the not delicate stuff). The only thing is he's up at Elizabeth West.
  5. hey craig, here's some rails that my brother modded for a customer using the factory rails and the generic slider the cheap seats come with; Also i had one of those seats sitting in my spare room unused never fitted that you could have had for the $170 it owes me.

    Hello

lol 15 year rule. After a 14 hour shift i couldn't think straight.
  7. With an N/A engine 1.1 is the standard and that is what most plugs are out of the box. With a force inducted car you get away with what you can but most people will run around the 0.8 mark. Also be careful with platinum plugs (which i will never use unless i own a car which is a bitch to change plugs) not to touch the electrode as the platinum coating is only a few microns thick and if you push a screw driver in their trying to gap a plug you will ruin it.

    Hello

It wouldn't happen to be an 88 or 89 model would it? If that's your car in as your avatar picture i'm pretty sure that i can see your compliance plate in Blue. (UNless the factory skyline plates are blue, the s-series ones aren't) If it is an 88 or 89 model than it'd be complied under the 20 year rule and doesn't need an Australian compliance plate just the factory one.
  9. torx head; allen key head (cap head)
  10. Anyone who was having problems with their pads running the QFM pads. I have done 3 track days with the set on the 180 and they (the fronts) still have at least another day left in them and the rears are bearly touched, that's pulling 1:23's as well.
  11. It's not related because it's a long way from Hendon, but there seems to be a lot of this going on. This bloke got knocked off twice ina number of weeks. http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=410419
  12. One would assume FC logit
  13. not sure, They cost me $900 + $120 postage so i suppose i would let them go for that. i wouldn't sell them but it's at least 12 months away before i build that car, and i have to many spare parts and not enough room. I have some other rims, they are Volk GT-P copies that i'll let go for the $500 that they owe me, they are 17x7's
  14. what about these, i only just bought them for my next project but foe the right money i may let them go. They are 17x8 and 17x9 genuine rays rims the rear rubber is good the front rubber is around 30%
  15. Those crazy arabs in the flying machines;
  16. i think his best time was 1:14.7 (not at TA though); for some reason the slicks actually went slower than what he'd ran before.
  17. No problem, Just put it in the email that you send after the payment has been sent. Here is an example of the decal for the centre of the RB26 Coil Pack Cover; Here is one that was done for a customer of my brothers, it's more complicated than the one being offered in the GB as it has raised lettering was black anodised and then rubbed back; but it gives you an idea of what they will look like fitted.
  18. It's called a grease (or plasticine) and a 1/2 inch socket extension, use with a hammer. Pack the centre of the sp i got and the cavity behind with the grease/plasticine then put the extension in the hole and hit with a hammer. The extension need to pretty tight in the hole for it to work so if the sp i got is fairly worn it'll take a few attempts to work. If you use grease make sure you wrap a rag around it otherwise you could get sprayed with grease.
  19. Who's got a JZX100?
  20. i missed it as i was sleeping. i'm guessing that there will be a poor turn out to the protest as i ahve never heard anything about it this time; where as with the last one it was all i heard for a few weeks there.
  21. That obviously isn't standard -5's though, the compressor map shows that 830WHP (415per turbo) is so far off the compressor map it's not funny. And then when you take into account the fact that the general rule for HP per Lb's/Min is BHP not WHP and it moves you even further off the map. That is unless they are doing a lot better than the 100BHP per 10 Lb's/min general rule for power. Having said that it is only a general rule and with the amount of work that has gone into that thing I'm sure it could break a few laws of physics as well.
  22. PM'd
