  1. I'm so busy with uni and work that i don't have time to work on the cars i have, i have 3 cars and none of them are going and haven't been since august (god i love busses). I have a contact that can get 25 boxes for $1200 so that'll give you something to aim for. If you can get one cheaper let me know.
  2. Is that a NA 30 box, if it is it's essentially the same (internally) as the CA18, S13, S14, and RB20 box. Which you will munch with the torque that the 25 will produce, but you may be lucky people have been in the past.
  3. then i'd just have to go and find another one, for $1500 you'll definitely find one (not with a trans though)
  4. don't do it wait out and find a RB25. just to give you inspiration i got my 25 for $700. But really a 25 shits all over a 20, whos only advantage is it's cheap price and ability to rev, which it needs to to make power.
  5. Hey Mate, You'll notice that on the rear of the plate in the first picture that there are 4 holes, these are tapped and are there so the ignitor can be re fitted. As for the date of delivery, they will all be sent within a week of the group buy closing. Dale
  6. the reason why you are thinking 440cc is because ADM S15 = 440cc it's the JDM S15's that have the 480cc injectors
  7. I have seen somewhere that there are ECU looms that you can use to make up an adaptor loom rather than cut the factory loom. So they are a short section of loom that have a male ECU plug on one end and a female plug on the. Does anyone know where these are avaliable? EDIT; Found it; http://www.rhdjapan.com/jdm-low/FIELD-One-...issan-PT1-55225
  8. godzilla was a nick name for the 32 gtr's, all of them as they dominated what ever category they raced in.. As for the the 600 hp on 92 octane, the americans use a different test to calculate their octane rating and their 92 is equivalent to our 98.
  9. Just get a HID high beam only setup, really you only need them when you need high beam. EDIT, has anyone got a detailed break down diagram for the RB25 VTC gear set?
  10. heres an engine and turbo for you for $1150. It's a 4WD but i can confirm that the 2wd sump will fit, as i have a stag engine sitting in my garage at the moment. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Nissan-RB25DET-Turb...=item2ea85e0fc7
  11. double post
  12. What he is doing for the RB26 is a billet decal that replaces the factory decal in teh centre of the coil pack cover. (pictures will be up in a couple days) He can do the coil pack covers for an RB26 but not for that price. For him to make a 26 cover that would suit the cam cover profile (because it's quite raised) you'd be looking at $140 in material cost alone and more that that in machine time .
  13. It was supposed to be just before extreme HP show, but Study has got in the way of that so it'll be up and running before teh end of November (touchwood). It'll be going straight on the market once it's back together but should be making another 20kw as well as the 264HKS cams are going in.
  14. i would be up for this but this is my car the moment;
  15. There is a company that is making Greddy copy versions of turbos that has designed a T3 10cm housing for the L2. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT Looking at the Greddy turbo data sheet that was on the other page the inducer and exducer size is the same on the 06s-L2 and the T67. EDIT!! Sorry the data sheet was in another topic, Here is it; http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/post-a251041- I was thinking about extrude honing a 8cm housing to an in between size.
  16. Hey Trent i have a question about using a TD06S-L2 20G on a RB25, I have found some graphs and they show that with the 8cm rear housing they choke the boost up top (Boost drops off from 25 PSI to 18psi). Do you have any suggestions on getting it to hold boost through to the redline. I have also seen a graph of a T67 8cm and once again in the top end it was dropping off from 19psi to 14psi. It's weird because on the RB's the 8cm housing chokes them above 300kw but with the SR's they hold boost. I know that they are a larger engine but flow is power so technically a 300kw RB will be flowing the same air as a 300kw SR so they should choke at the same power. Also do you have any graphs of an L2 20G 10cm on a 25? TD06S-L2 20G 8cm
  17. How much power are you making, or planning to make? If it's anymore than 250kw in a GTR i'd move away from organic clutches (personal preferance) Have you rang Adelaide Clutch Service (or what every thay have changed their name to now), they are the manufacturer of the Xtreme Brand Clutches and they are in Adelaide.
  18. Hello All, I had a billet coil pack cover made up for my CA18 last year and there has been a bit of interest in getting them made up for other engines. My brother has finally had got around to designing them for RB's and SR's and has got a few businesses that have ordered some batches in the last couple weeks, since he is already doing some batches i asked if he would do a cheaper price if i could get enough orders to warrant him making another batch, So here we are. 1 Month time span (14/10/09 > 14/11/09) 10 orders needed GROWLY CUSTOM BILLET COIL PACK COVERS CNC Machined from 6mm Billet Aluminium Supplied with Stainless Screws needed CNC Machined Finish with a Choice of Engraved Designs, RB 25 COIL COVER :- GROUP BUY = $120; RRP = $160 RB 20 COIL COVER :- GROUP BUY = $120; RRP = $160 CA 18 COIL COVER :- GROUP BUY = $90; RRP = $120 SR 20 COIL COVER :- GROUP BUY = $80; RRP = $110 (non-VTC only) RB26 CENTRE BADGE :- GROUP BUY = $50; RRP = $70 (Pictures up by next week) Postage & handling $20 Aust'' Wide ENGRAVINGS :- Choose from the Logo's shown below, or; Custom engraving using a Microsoft Font i.e. Number Plate, e.t.c ACCOUNT DETAILS BSB: 124001 Account number: 20470454 Account name: M L Stirling Bank: Bank of Queensland Once the payment has been sent through an email MUST be sent to [email protected] with; SAU User Name Address Contact Number Engine Type Design Wanted My CA Cover;

  21. Sneek preview of a group buy that i'll be setting up in the next few days, for Coil Pack Covers. These are a few that Matt has done for Dr Drift but there will be a selection of designs that can be chosen in the actual group buy.
  22. He's better off pulling the running gear out of it selling the shell and when he gets over here buying a shell (can get them for around the $2-3000 mark now) and refitting all the stuff. There is basically no chance he can get that complied here. EDIT!! Actually he might have slim a chance under a personal import. PM Iron_Chef on here he'll have some answers for you.
  23. They aren't in Adelaide but give Power Tune a call in Sydney, I know they make replacement gears out of P20 tool steel http://powertune.com.au/index.html
  24. Like i just posted on FB Matt had a clutch die like that on the Mirage. By the look of the little bit if friction material i can see the clutch didn't have to much life left in it anyway
  25. Well actually yes that's what a narrow band O2 sensor will do when the engine is in closed loop mode. If you look at the voltage output from a narrow band sensor there is a big difference in the voltage between 14.6 and 14.8 and all the ECU does is aim above till it gets a low voltage and then aims below until it get's a high voltage, so by constantly going above and below it averages 14.7 which what we are looking for.
