  1. these are more accurate than what you pictured, but they are a lot more expensive.
  2. that's alright i edited it out so people won't question you reading skills, lol Won;t be happening until december, and the CA is going back in ATM with a set of HKS 264 cams that i just bought so i should get that up to 230-240 before it comes out for good. If anyone knows/hears of a cefiro X-Member (A31) let me know.
  3. No the 4WD blocks have the bolting patterns for both the 4wd and 2wd sumps, so it'll be 2wd and a 2wd sump was thrown in as well.
  4. It's going in the 180 with a TD06SL2-20G, easier to make 300 with a 25 than the CA
  5. i just bought a 25 in brilliant condition for $700, and it's a 4wd version. The intake manifold is included but just not fitted
  6. yeah it isn't the issue in that case. You should get 90 degrees of movement with the actuator disconnected.
  7. On a side note as anyone got any pictures of the new T3 twin gate Split Pulse housings that Garrett has just released for the EVO's? i know there were some online a couple months ago but now i can't find them. Also how much of a market do you guys think would be for a EVO flanged RB exhaust manifold so the new housings can be used on RB's?
  8. no it might not be hitting, what turbo is it. I.E. if you put a T2 turbo with a small wastegate on the rb25 and run it with up the actuator dissconnected it'll produce a large amount of boost before it chokes because the wastegate can't pass enough gas and therefore forces gas through the turbine and boost is produced. What your problem is is that the wastegate isn't big enough to pass enough gas to drop the boost below 9psi in the top end. this is your lower limit and you can't run less that that. Any actuator you put on the turbo will then increase the figure because you are adding a further restriction on the wastegate. Go get you wastegate machined and fit a bigger wastegate flap.
  9. so who was after the CA dave?
  10. Depend on how much they are looking to spend, it'll be sold in a kit that will include; 70,000km engine GT2871R Turbo Custom Turbo Lines Injectors Custom Inter Cooler, piping and Induction Kit Custom Oil Cooler Kit Custom Oil Relo Kit Custom Engine Mounts Custom Cam Gears Custom CAS Bracket Custom Backing Plate Custom Coil Pack Cover Cam Conversion Custom Breather Kit Extreme 1200kg Ceramic Clutch Trans Inc Flywheel Full Exhaust Polishing (Intake Plenum, Rocker covers, Cam Cover) Engine Dampener Tuned ECU (3 days on dyno) Loom AFM Brackets, silicon hoses coolant, other incidentals
  11. i was going to say that kranze was Tim (Ted180) but i have been beaten by a number of people. I have some pics of some new purchases, BRB. EDIT!! Here we go;
  12. i'm so glad my car is off the road at the moment
  13. MTQ quoted $1150 each for -5's. Any of the sonic dealers should do that price as well,
  14. only by measuring, they are around the 30 mark
  15. I also have some 17x7 rims that you can have for $550 they are copies of the rims i have on my 180 (Volk GT-P's), they have 3 legal tyres on them and one that has to much camber wear. I was going to use the 17's fro track rims but now that i'm fitting a RB25 i'll be going 5 stud. Here's the pics 17x7's on the LHS and 15x6.5 on the RHS;
  16. They do but only 2 have tread and the other 2 are hard because they are fairly old. same size as the factory rims 15 x 6.5. the tyres are either 195's or 205's
  17. They will 15x6.5 so are the wrong size since he is looking for 14's Adrian of you are looking for 15's then i ahve a set of light weight 5 spoke 15's that you can have for $300.
  18. no CA18det are low impedance, CA18de's are high impedance and they are only around the 290cc mark. have a look here, the biggest drop in are 550cc but if you want to change the rail you can go up to 890/900cc http://www.injectorsonline.com/ P.S. Just wondering why you aren't interested in wiring in the dropping resistor, i was under the belief that low impedance injectors are easier to control at low duty cycles?
  19. they're taking a while to post the times up on NATSOFT. Normally they are up by the evening of the event.
  20. No what people are saying is that you can get a good idle with the nistune chipped ECU, you have unplugged the AAC thinking that the chiped ECU can't control i with this isn;t the case, the chipped ECU can control the AAC so plug it in and get a tuner that can do their job. People were saying that you will lose the VTC with the rb20 32 ECU which is the case, but with the VG30 ecu you will retain the VTC. From what i have heard about the VG30 ecu's is that there are a few pins that have to be swapped though to make it work with the RB25 Loom.
  21. Hello All, I'm after some 235/45/17 or 245/40/17 semi slick or slick carcases, they can be completely worn out as long as the carcase itself is on good condition and not stuffed. I'll pay $50 per pair (would like 2 pairs) for them and they need to be in Adelaide cos' paying postage on used tyres is a waste. PM me if you can help me out. Thanks Dale
  22. i think its a KX, KLX's & KLR's were 4 stroke
  23. Speak to Shock Systems on NS.com, he sells all the bushes, and he's pretty cheap and in Adelaide.
