  1. if you are careful how you mod the reo you will get away with it. i needed to take about 15mm off the bottom to get mine to fit. rather than just take it off the centre i trimmed it off an even distance the whole way along, and then painted it. It looks completely standard, the only way you would be able to tell is if you had two side by side.
  2. you should organise a skyline convoy to pick her up from the airport.
  3. Great topic of discussion in a dyno day thread; but yes Steve has a point, Bi-Women are what guys are after, lesbians are just as useful as porn, you'll still be doing it to yourself. And besides if you have spent any time around semaphore you will know that true lesbians generally aren't that much to look at.
  4. now compare that very expensive N/A with a very expensive turbo.
  5. This is wrong for a few different reasons. Firstly the major thing that restricts the growth of a new club is it's finances, if you can get a better deal from a workshop and it makes more money for the club then the better. And secondly there is nothing more important to a club (especially a fledgling club) than it's events, a club lives and dies by it's events. If the event aren't up to scratch (and i'm not saying this one wasn't) then they won't get new members or even lose the ones it has. Given the importance of event in the clubs future it is definitely some thing that the committee as a whole should be deciding with the events coordinator doing the leg work. If the other committee members don;t have time to put towards an aspect that is so vital to the clubs well being then they should have accepted their nomination to the position (although I'm sure that's not the case here). Anyhow this is getting off of track and by the sounds of it it was i very successful day, i'm just saying that important decisions that greatly affect the club shouldn't be left up to one person. I'm out.
  6. CA18 would be easier;
  7. Which ever one that was at BW then, the one where there was a big power supra that took the day out and there were a couple tough Ford coupes there as well. EDIT!! Found it it was this one; Domestic Vs Import Dyno Day: 22nd Nov Not that it matters
  8. It's not harsh at all it's what being part of a committee is all about, decisions being made by a group of the good of the group or a common goal. That is the job of the event coordinator to gather the info and produce it to the committee.
  9. Having said that though, it takes all of 10 seconds to put the sniffer in the exhaust. The main delay is waiting for the sensor to heat up but since they cars are going back to back it won't cool down too much and if he's holding them on high revs like people have been stating it'll be hot enough to give a reading by the time he starts the power run.
  10. It shouldn't matter as she is representing SAU-SA. There should have been either a number of workshop approached to see which one can give the best deal to the club or EOI gone out to workshops to see what they can offer and then from this info a workshop is voted on by the committee. It shouldn't be which ever workshop an individual committee member has an affiliation with gets the job, otherwise there is no point having a committee
  11. I'm pretty sure that at the last pulsar dyno day at boostworx that there was no AFR's logged. I had a 10mm hole in my in my intercooler piping where a plug had worked it's way out which resulted in Mega rich AFR's (Like <9.0:1) and there was no AFR readings produced. If i had have known i would have pulled the car off after the first run. At the end of the day it's up to the contestant to make sure that their car is in correct running order. They aren't tuning that car all they are doing is what you are aking them to do; run the car up on the dyno to see what power it's making in it's "current" state of tune. It's not their fault of your cars not running right because all they in effect doing what most people occasionally do on the street or that same as climbing up a steep hill. When you do this you don't know what your AFR's are so you take the risk, same case here.
  12. Anyone know of a car detailer that has a hoist and does under body cleaning, While the engine is out of my car i want to get the underbody cleaned.
  13. Deka Dry cell batterys. They are avaliable through battery world. I have been using one in my car since i moved my battery to the boot/hatch, couple years at least. Mine is a 360cca and was around $200.
  14. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Turbocharger-SUBARU...p3286.m20.l1116 Here's a bit better turbo for him. Still cheaper version though.
  15. It has a Giney, but also has a baby pee pee as well.
  16. Apparently she (read 'it') is an hermaphrodite, so you can still flap as 'it' is both.
  17. As Andrew has said you can't go past that QFM pads, I'm using the A1RM pads, they have unbelievable cold bite (I seriously couldn't believe it), and i have used them at Mallala and pulling low 1:20's and for 15 minutes and never had any fade. Also done 2 modern Reg' events and i still have another 2 days left in the pads, that's with a few hills runs as well. They have a 1/2 price rears deal (through GSR RallySport, who's a trader on here) as well and i got free postage as well so that's front and rear 780 degree pads for $190 posted.
  18. If he buys it and bolts it up it probably will make power, but it will also probably laggier that the equivalent sized turbo. Now in that saying that it will make power; it might make it more than once, it might even make it through the dyno session, he might even get 500km's on it, the the chances of him getting more than 12 months out of it are very slight.
  19. Anyhow love to stay and chat but back out to the garage with me.
  20. ^^^ The gap between the upper and lower timing belt covers gives the answer to that question.
  21. The dyno measures tractive effort, so that is 5800N of tractive effort. You can set up the dyno to show actual engine torque but you ahve to enter all the details like tyre diameter as well as the diff ratio, on a dyno day that isn't going to happen due to time restraints. If you want torque when you car is on the dyno just give the operator the details and ask them to enter them.
  22. Lookie what popped up on facebook already; (might not work for people though) http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=...2364&ref=nf
  23. Anyone had a look at the NS.com layout? I'm not to sure on it myself but others say that they like it.
