  1. because of the different stretch you will actually be running different rolling diameters so you will be slowly killing your clutches, the good thing is because the 32's don't run any preload you won't be wearing them as quickly as you would be with a 33 or 34 that run a proload.
  2. EDIT!! Damo beat me too it ATTESSA will chuck a hissy fit if you run staggered widths because no matter how hard you try you won't be able to achieve the same rolling diameter. Don't believe me have a play; http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp
  3. theres still a chance that i might make this, it's only 10% but i might be there. Lets see if i can get my engine out and back in in one day.
  4. Sorry i though that it was a bellmouth dump for some reason. What turbo was it to start from? Was it a plain bearing s14 T28?
  5. Your dump won't need to be modded. And screamers on internal gates aren't a great idea either.
  6. Great choice
  7. More power for me; http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...em=220450462580
  8. just got send a text message about this as well, lets hope for 30,000 people to this one.
  9. Yep there is a plan to shut down parafield airport and move the secondary air port to murry bridge. The engineering lecturers at UniSA mentioned that it's been in the pipeline since the late 80's and now that mawson lakes is up and running it'll happen
  10. NEO Top feed High Impedance Non-NEO Side feed High Impedance What i would suggest with the Neo's is to wire in the ballasted resistor for a GTR and use some GTR Low Impedance injectors as they are easier to find they have a wider range and they are cheaper. Also because they are low impedance it easier to control large injectors on low duty cycles.
  11. There are some problems with high flowed injectors not having a good spray parttern and therefore bad atomisation. When you can get 500>550cc for around the $300 mark why bother. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Fuel-Injector-SUBAR...p3286.m20.l1116 http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Fuel-Injector-SUBAR...p3286.m20.l1116
  12. Just heard on the news that they are putting forward new 'Bikie" laws that allows police to ask suspected criminals to prove their wealth and if you can prove it then your assets are seized.
  13. I hate to tell you guys but apart from the scissors part it's common place with some breeds to cut their ears and dock their talls. How do you think Doberman ears get from being floppy when they are a puppy; To being like this;
  14. All you do is take the no.1 coil pack out take the boot off and put a regular spark plug leed between the coil pack and the spark plug. Then you hook up the timing light to the leed as per normal
  15. Dave go for a GT28RS, if you keep the boost below 12 psi you can get around without a tune for the time being. I would just do a run on the dyno to see what the AFR's are like though before you push it too much, but that'll only cost you $50. There is no point rebuilding the T28 when you will only get $4-500 when you go to sell it. you might as well put the rebuild money towards the GT28RS. A 2871 is a bit to big to get around on without a tune, you would have to keep it below 9 psi and it would be dowie as and you wouldn't like it.
  16. Yep GT2871R will mean injectors 740cc, Z32 AFM, and a remap at the very least (at least the remap will only cost you around $600 including the daughter board) and to get the most out of that turbo you should really get cams. Without cam your looking at around 230rwkw and with cams your looking at 250rwkw. If you don't want that power then look at a GT28RS, that'll be around 220rwkw without cams and 235-240rwkw with cams. Standard SR's will take 250rwkw without a problem depending on how you drive it and how good the tune is. EDIT!! I'm pretty sure the use of any harness is illegal in SA.
  17. STRi Gauges are the G O; Half the price of Defi's and Made a JPN
  18. I know it's pretty cliché to say this but in your case there is a fair chance that it's what's wrong so; start looking for boost leaks. Also those coil packs won't help your fuel consumption or your running rich, as you won't be getting complete combustion.
  19. ^^^ MTQ They shouldn't be referred to as black top and red top. They should be referred to as VTC and non-VTC SR20's, the reason for this is because 180sx's after 1994 came out with SR20 that has a black rocker cover but is identical to the "Red Top" SR20's fitted to the S13's. The main difference between the S13's and S14's is that the S14's came equipped with VTC (Variable Timing Control) and came with a bigger T28 as opposed to the T25G that the S13 and 180sx SR's came with. The other differences are a different intake manifold and a different oil filter thread than the earlier SR's. The reason why you have to be careful how you refer to them is because there are a lot of people who have a later model SR20 from a 180sx thing that because they have a black rocker cover they have a "Black Top" SR20. This doesn't cause a problem until they do a service, they ask for an oil filter for a "Black Top" SR20 and they get what they ask for which has a bigger thread than what is fitted to their engine (M20x1.5 as opposed to 3/4x16). The difference is only very slight (19.05mm Vs' 20mm) and the filter will fit on and tighten up but when it has pressure put on it it will come off. So people finish their service and go for a strap, as they get high in the revs (where the oil pressure is higher) the filter pops off dropping all the and dropping the main oil gallery pressure to 0. By the time they notice and clutch it it's too late and they have spun their bottom end; All because they called their engine a "Black Top".
  20. anyone want to head out to watch drift practice tonight? EDIT!! Cos' i can't now just got called into work
  21. Anything wrong with a remap? It'll do everything and more that a P-FC will do (infact it is better as it retains the knock control that you lose with P-FC) with the exception of the hand controller and if you want something like that just pay $400 for a NIStune board and you can plug it into your laptop and bring up more info than the hand controller will give you.
  22. No only the R33's you can't. Look at the listings under board 4; ER34 RB25det http://www.nistune.com/boards.htm
  23. Hey Jenkies did you end up doing the Modern Reg'?
  24. lol only 2 clicks for me
  25. I put a post on the NICO.com CA18 about the cranks, they were interested a while ago when i mentioned in a thread about aftermarket CA rods that you were making a stroker crank. Keep an eye on it if you want. Here's the NICO thread i'll post one up on NS.com as well; http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread/4341...ker-crank-876mm P.S. whats the cost of the CA crank? EDIT!! The NS.com thread; http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=393047
