I ordered a set of lifters for my CA from rock auto after being ripped off by another seller in that states that only sent 12 then refused to answer calls or emails. From what I found with the my CA there are at least 3 different styles of lifters, I pulled down 3 engines and each of them had slightly different lifters. Even though hydraulic lifters automatically adjust lash they don't have infinite adjustment, there is an adjustment shim between the internal piston and the lifters body. P.S. rock auto were brilliant, ordered them online and they were at my door 5 working days later. Not 3 months like the other guys.

Serious Turbo Knowledge Needed

could have had the factory compressor housings machined and fitted to GT2554 cores. without an ID plate we're just guessing though. -

The 56 trim wheel in the GT2871r is the same compressor as the off the shelf GT3071r but in this case its the turbine that restricts the turbo as it can't drive the compressor hard enough to reach it's potential. The 0.86 rear (probably 0.82 if It's a T3 housing) will help to not choke the turbine but you will still be around 20kw down on the same compressor mated to a GT30 turbine.

No that's just for the hoses that run to the flux capacitor, there's no issue if you use a RHS screwdriver provided you stay under 88MPH.

Tuning Issue That Has Got Many Of The Best Minds Stumped.

From my understanding it was lean everywhere, I'll have to get more answers on Monday as I'm not the one working on the car. -
Tuning Issue That Has Got Many Of The Best Minds Stumped.
D_Stirls replied to D_Stirls's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
They had played with both the ATC and WTC initially and it had no effect on the issue. But both those corrections it would have changed the injector firing time and that would have been seen on the scope. -
Hello All, One of my mates has encountered an issue with his GTR which his tuner (as well as many of the top workshops in the eastern states) have not been able to figure out. Lewis Built RB26 260 x 9.15 tomei cams SARD 700cc injectors CNC ported head Trust T517Z's (8cm) Haltech Pro Plugin No O2 sensors Walbro intank pump with 044 from external from surge tank. The car had a few electrical gremlins that were sorted out before tuning, it then went on the dyno and was tuned and it made 360kw @ 20psi (T517Z's). The issue came the next day when they started it it was mega rich and was pumping out thick black smoke. They adjusted the tune and pulled out 25% fuel to bring it back into line. Then as the engine warmed and it got to around 50 degrees it started to lean itself out and needed the fuel added again. They shut it down and let it cool, then started it again and it did the same thing. They though the pump might be dying (even though it made power) so they put a fuel pressure/flow gauge on it and watch it again as the engine warmed and once again it went rich then lean but the pressure and flow were unchanged. They then scoped the injectors to see what was happening at the injector and there was no change in the firing time with the change in AFR's. They then fitted another set of the same injectors the same thing happened, they removed the resistor and changed the impedance at the ECU there was no change, the voltage is only fluctuating by 0.1V-0.2V so it's not latency related. They though that it might be the ECU itself even though the injector scope said that the firing time wasn't changing, so another ECU was used and it changed nothing. The engine was previously running a Power FC L-Jetro and there was no issue with the AFR's changing themselves. The Tuner is Simon at Morpowa and he has rang CRD, Godzilla Motorsport, and Haltech themselves and no one can think of what would cause the symptoms. Haltech have now been sent the tune to run on their simulator so see if that can shed any light but when they were trying to diagnose the fault Simon fixed all the cells used for idle to the same value to make sure that the ECU wouldn't be changing injector time, but that had no effect on the issue. I spoke to Simon yesterday and he gave me a rundown but any specific question that he didn't give me the info for will take a day to get the answers for the thread. Has anyone got any ideas or come across anything similar?

And they did raise a lot more money than any of the Import cruises that i have seen.

SR20det versions are around 1250kg's, the CA versions are around 1150. My 180 was 1303kg's with me (110kg's) in the car and a full tank of fuel (~50kg's). Not that I've been able to find, only an email address.

My mate got done for speed while on his P's, he got 3 points for speeding and the officer told him that he would have been able to keep his licence had he only been done for the speeding but since his rear P plate was not up that would gain him another point and he would then lose his licence as he had accrued 4 points.
-
Failure to display your P plates is 1 point where did he lose the other 3.

Hey Vu, contact Alex (GTR1993). He message me the other day asking if i knew anyone that wanted a 26 as he has one that he's looking to sell. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/user/29334-gtr1993/

Hey mate a have an A31 cross member that i won't be using now as I'm not going to do an RB conversion anymore.

H and SH are the same, just some people abbreviate it to H. I think that they just made a mistake with the title of one of the listings where they called is a TD06S but it is actually an SL2 which they mention in the Spec's sheet.

They don't hear appeals for suspension due to demerit points anymore as you have the 1 point option, it's only after you have gone through that process and if you lose the 1 point that you can then appeal. I think it will end up at the point were they will open that option up to the people affected unless they have already gone through that process.
-
What's Google+?
-
I don't think that it's 3 to 5 years. When i reached 13 points i took the 1 point option and i basically had 1 point for 12 months but if i lost that point the period of suspension was doubled so 6 month loss of licence not 3. At the end of the day the points for each fine are on the notice and he should have know that he had accrued 12 or more points. He thought that he got away with it but now it has come back to bite him on the ass; you can also apply to get a notification of your points accrued so if he was unsure this option was available to him. He should have sorted it out back in the day, you commit the offence you take the repercussions.

The crown is the top of the piston the ring lands are the gaps between the rings and the skirt is the section below the bottom ring. Here's a diagram for you;

Thinking around the $1400 mark, I have 3 of the 17x8.5's and 2 of the 17x9's have 4 tyres for the 8.5's and a set for the 9.5's So that's 5 rims and 6 tyres.
-
Unless you've got a S13 they won't be any good for you. They are 17x8.5 and 17x9.5. That's a negative, as it is i have raped the TIG welder fund.

Stop it The new rims aren't even here yet. Also be selling my GT-P's, but they are no good for you guys they are 4 stud.
