LOL that's what i would have thought? What static compression do they run?

was fitting a spare R200 to a mates SR20de Silvia, Had the front of the diff sitting on the sway bar and the rear diff bolts just sitting in the cradle. My mate bumped the car and the diff fell out of the cradle on to my head which was resting on the concrete floor. Lets just say that it hurt a bit, and the EGG come up before i got out from under the car (have a photo some where). Can we include on the farm stories, my brother and i grew up in the country and i have so many stories from the farm.

I've been looking at the footage think how much it would have pissed me off being in the middle of that group trying to put together some good times. I think it'll stick to my Modern Reg's and sprints

:-Fell down the pit and bruised a couple ribs and breaking the LED head light my missus just bought me for x-mas. :-Pulled the gearbox out of the car had undone every thing except for the clutch line, didn't realise until i slipped the box back and then tried to put it down only to realise i couldn't. So then i was left with the gearbox resting n my right shoulder while trying to undo the line with my right hand. Lucky the 10mm spanner was within reach. :-There are plenty more to come as well

still if there is a car that catches you and then is up your ass constantly then you should let them through cos' obviously they are quicker. i bet that most new guys out there aren't even checking their mirrors though.
-
The real question is was he quicked than you, if he was and you were getting blue waved flags then you are supposed to let him through. You can't keep blocking him and then complain that he eventually pushed his way through, as you are as much at fault as he is. I had the same incident during a modern reg' event where we are also not allowed to pass into corners. The bloke in front of me was holding me up and was getting constant blue flags but he wouldn't let me through so i was only left with passing him into a corner. i spoke with the clark of the course afterwards and he said what i did was fine because the other driver was ignoring the instructions of the flaggies. Really though if the sessions are set up correctly then you shouldn't catch more than one or 2 cars in the first session (will depend on whether drivers know how quick they are expecting to go) and then in following session the cars should be staggered from quickest to slowest.

lol, yeah that's a bit hot ideally you don't want to go much hotter than 120 max and you really want it to be sitting around the 100 mark. I would be replacing it asap if i was you. But if it is any concellation that's the same temps that Andrew is getting with his, and it's something he'll be sorting out when he gets back. i have some ideas on how to fix it and the THRUST turbos wouldn;t be helping things being oil cooled but we'll wait and see what we can figure out with his. That's a good thing with the modern reg' the sessions are only 5 or 6 hot laps long so you can push as hard as you can and just as your temp are getting too hight the sessions finished.
-
People should look at doing the next modern Reg'. I'll be doing that and i think it's on the 28th of June

Your Screwed, that is the chassis rail and if you ever have to go to regency you wouldn't get the car back on the road without a very expensive piece of paper from an engineer.

Wrx Driver Kills Person Travelling In The Other Direction

To the people saying that the driver of the Toyota shouldn't have pulled out infront of the WRX, how well do you think that you can judge the speed of a car travelling directly at you from 200m away. I will put money on the fact that you aren't as good as you think you are. Here's something you might be interested in; 60kph= 16.6 Meters per second 150kph = 41.6 Meters per second So you look down the road and there's a car that is 200m down the road, you pull out and within 5 second there on you. where as if they were at 60kph it would be 12.5 seconds. Also to HVN_032 i can 100% garentee you that i have never done 150km/h in a residential Zone. -
last years AJD, i had other commitments this year but i came for a looksie in the morning.

As for the sump, post a topic in the WTB section on NS.com. I wouldn't pay more than $50 if that, Infact in the post put that you are looking for a CA sump and you are willing to pay $50 that way you will only have to deal with people that are realistic. As for the intercooler, that is the size that i'm running except mine is 76mm thick;

Wrx Driver Kills Person Travelling In The Other Direction

I think the community has to have a responce to this one, make it big and invite the media. If you have a cruise or just a meet and greet with a couple hundered cars (maybe even collect money for victims for crime) just to show that a majority of people out that drive the same style of cars or actual enthusiests(sp) and that we aren't all punks then we can try and reduce the fallout from this actions of the stupid few. If we are all united in our public condemnation of the stupid behaviour then we might have a slight chance of not being tared with the same brush, Afte all if we are just posting on NS our dissapprovial then to the general public we are slient on the matter. If the event was to be held then only some spokes people should be allowed to speek to the media and their words chosen carefully so they can't twist then when editing the story. -
Wrx Driver Kills Person Travelling In The Other Direction

POLICE are hunting for a third vehicle after a horror high-speed collision between two cars at Woodville North killed one person and injured four others. Police said drag racing was involved in the crash, at the corner of Torrens Rd and Audley St, Woodville North, at about 8.45pm last night http://www.news.com.au/adelaidenow/story/0...42-2682,00.html -
Hey Christian do you know what the go would be with child restraints if you have the car redgistered as a two seater? Surley if you don't have any back seats and say a half cage then you wouldn't be required to have child restraints as they could never be used?
-
Hey luke why do you have to have your car finished by thursday? When is the track day?
-
I think mine already has the flu, It gets a runny nose almost every night Too Far???
-
I am that pissed at the whole situation that even if the strip opened tomorrow i wouldn't not go there, i will never set foot on that track or the grounds ever again. People should stop being so fickle. BJ has been giving Adelaide the BIG FAT ONE for number of years so he will never get any of my hard earned ever, and that includes his stores. The other track WILL happen and i will wait for that to be built, and BJ and his faggoty son can got get F#*Ked. and i hope when the track is finally decommissioned they they still own it so that they can pay for the site to be cleaned up. As for the top fuel that i saw it was about 8 years ago and it was a deminstration run for the Top Fuel Nationals that were going to be held there a couple months later, but ANDRA pulled their certification before the event happend and it was held somewhere else. That was the last run, and it was the first and only time i have ever seen a Top Fueler (i grew up on EP so i didn't see them while i was growing up) but i must say i have never experianced anything like them since. just the noise and vibration is unbelieveable.
-
When was the last time you saw a Top Fueler in adelaide, i bet you it wasn't 4 years ago. I saw the last Top Fueler pass (well kind of, it spat a s/charger belt off the line) and that was 8 years ago.

i'll grab that R33 one off you too if you have that on a link as well steve.

No that doesn't have the info that i'm after but it will come in handy in the future so thanks anyway.
