  1. Since you're in Golden Grove give Simon a call at Morpowa, they are just down the road (off of Milne Rd).
  2. Well maybe I'm colour blind but to me this is white (well it more white than blue), and it is oil smoke. Can't find any picture of fuel smoke but it's dark, but since I can't tell colours I might not be able to tell shades either so maybe fuel fuel smoke is light.
  3. if you have iridium plugs just be careful when you are gaping the because the iridium is only a few microns (1000th's of a mm) thick and if you scratch it it will come off and ruin you expensive plugs. IMO there is no point running them as they don't do a better job than the copper plug they just do if for longer' they were designed to be fitted to cars that are hard to change plugs like 300zx's and WRX's so you don't have to change them every 5-10,000 you can stretch that out to 70,000-100,000. Platinum's are the same story.
  4. Oil is white, sometimes with a very faint light blue tinge. The white "smoke" that people talk about with Water and Coolant is Steam not smoke, and if you can't tell the difference between steam and smoke than I can't help you. Fuel Smoke is Black, once again with a dark blue tinge but it's more pronounced with the fuel. This is the smoke that you see under power. Also a lot of people get worried when they see white steam (not smoke) from their exhaust in the mornings. Don't worry about this it's just condensation and once the exhaust heats up your won't see it.
  5. Hey Damo PM me the number i have access reverse number search so i'll get his name address.
  6. Figures or BAN Pete. XXX kw or
  7. here's a couple thing i noticed; It has to be a RB25DET head as it still has the VTC. Also that doesn't look like a genuine Greddy intake manifold, it looks like and eBay copy.

    Porting

So what do you want to get done to them? Port matched or extrude honed?
  9. It still will eventually cause problem with 32's but not as quickly as 33's and 34's as they run a mechanical 10% preload all the time (that is why you can't just pull a fuse in the later models). with the 32 it will still cause the clutches to burn out but the wearing will only occur when the ATESSA is activated, hence why it won't happen as quickly as the later models.
  10. Yeah i edited mine What did you end up doing about the external gate?
  11. Well acording to my calculations there is a 50mm differance in the rolling circumferance between a 225x45 and a 235x40, there's a 15mm differance in diameter. http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp
  12. Yeah that right but if you have say a 10 inch rim and an 9 inch rim if you don't run the 1 size tyre ie 245/40/?? on both them (i.e 1 stretched one not) you will have problems; and even then if you have a heap of stretch on one and not the other that will effect your rolling circumferance as well.
  13. I won $8000 tonight................................................ On FaceBook poker
  14. No, I was trying to stir him up in the daily on the way home from work last night but he wasn't taking the bait. It looked like he was running staggered rim widths, i was just wondering how his ATESSA is going?
  15. Who here owns a Gun Metal Grey 32 GTR with light blue 5 poke rims and a small SAU sticker on the B pillar on the Passengers side? (also has CC plates i think)
  16. There are ways around this that aren't so permanent. If you want to know PM me, I don't what to post up in there because I don't want the SPYs to know
  17. $22 at petro-ject last time that's cleaning and flow testing.
  18. I don't think you can change ownership of the car until the rego' is changed. You will need a licence from the state that the car is in if you are going to be able to do that. They won't let you keep the other states plates unless you have the corresponding licence. The law says that you have 14 days to change the the ownership of the car once you have bought it but most people just drive it until the rego' runs out.
  19. If your after cleaning and flow testing go to Petro-Ject in Stepney, they do a lot of the work for workshop in the state and they also sell the cleaning and testing machines and are dealers for Bosch. PETRO-JECT SOUTH AUSTRALIA Unit 5 28-32 Stepney Street Stepney PH: (08) 8132 1622 (Gerry)
  20. No when i brought my 180 in i drove it around for 3 months on the Vic rego and then a week before it ran out I got an ID inspection done at the ID place not the Defect place. I hadn't transferred it until I had the ID inspection done.
  21. I don't think that's right; If you bring a car in from interstate all you need is and ID inspection which is not done at the Defect Inspection sheds at regency but at another place in regency park (or you can take to to sturt). Regardless whether you have the car in your name or not it will have to have this inspection at either of the two venues. You only problem will be if you have obvious defect like a top mount of a mega loud exhaust. If you have obvious defects then they will send you to the Defect inspect place to have the car looked over. Also make sure you have legal tint because they always check this at the ID inspection.
  22. Here you go, Some one who want to pull out; http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=350404
  23. How come every one's up for Hilzy's when my cars off the road. Bloody cracked exhausts.
