Hi guys, Just wanted to ask how to repair a busted right hand mirror? Some kids broke the mirror a few days ago and now I am left to fork out the damage costs. Would I need to replace the whole mirror including the electric arm? Or is it as simple as removing the mirror and buying a new one? Hopefully I can just change the mirror. Yea its already possible to remap the r33 ecu. I had mine done last year in Sydney for the new highflow turbo, fmic, fuel pump, etc. It only cost me $350. It removes the rev limit, speed limit, etc. When you plan to do it, you should make sure that you get all your mods done first as then you have to pay another $600 for a retune. The reason I had to go with it is because I have an auto gear box.

So which stage shift kit would this be comparable to MV automatics?

Hi guys, Got stuck into it yesterday arvo. Took all the pipes connected from the throttle body up to the afm. No blockages. But I did however put the stock T piece boost controller back and once you rev it on idle the wastegate doesn't open up anymore. But I am still where I stood from the beginning, boost wont go past 2psi.

I only have the stock boost gauge. Kind of understanding where your coming from. I am going to try and figure out whats going on. Just have to figure out where to start.

So how do I fix that? Its just the stock turbo? Even my other turbo (highflow) didnt want to go past 2psi so I put the stock one back on. Both turbo's did the same thing... I don't think both wastegates are screwed. I do notice that while driving, under load (when the boost builds up) it releases and makes a hissing sound. Couldn't this be more on the actuator because it was used on both turbo's to get the same result

What I mean is the wastegate on the turbo. When I rev the car, at high revs you can see the wastegate open up. I am just saying this because people might think straight away that the turbo is might be broke.

The wastegate opens up only when I rev the car at idle. So I should check the pipes on the intercooler to make sure theres nothing stuck inside. Could it be something to do with boost controller by any chance?

When I rev the car on idle I can see the wastegate opening up. So that shouldnt be a turbo problem. Acceleration is very poor as if its struggling. If I put soapy water over it, wouldnt it just suck it in? not blow it out as bubbles?

Hi guys I was wondering if you guys can give me a hand on this one. As this has totally got me stomped. Ever since I got my FMIC installed my boost won't go past 2psi. I have checked all connections and there is no leak. But I can still hear an air leak somewhere. I totally have no clue where it is coming from. Does anyone have any ideas to what things I would need to check? I have been told to check all air linked things. Besides the FMIC connections is there any other things that I should check? Cheers

Im curious to what is the difference between stage 2 and stage 3? Has anyone asked Mike yet? And what are the price differences between the stages?

So I'm guessing I should use Dexron III? If anyone has done it before on an auto gearbox, it would be great if someone could make a DIY for the other auto skylines out there.

I was curious to how often should you change your auto gearbox oil? And also how do you change the gearbox oil? Would it be the same as manual? Can I use the same gearbox oil as manual? I have been hearing good things about the Motul brand. Can any auto guys give us any tips. Bernard

I have a remapped ecu. Cookiebear - No you can't. once the ecu chip is burned and into the ecu you cannot change the afrs afterwards unless you are going to get another remap again.

I still would like to see the turnout of this setup with a safc and a mines ecu. I will probably will just be getting a whole new remap once I get my hands on some injectors and z32 to go with the new highflow turbo next yr. So far I've got all the other supporting mods - full exhaust, fmic, cam gears, etc. Need to strengthen that gearbox tho. Auto shift kit and torque converter should do it. Hopefully will be able to reach 250rwkw
