So I guess a 10w30 oil would be a lot better then 5w50?

Hi just curious on if I should be using a thicker engine oil to maintain my new turbo. I just thought I would need a thicker oil because it wont breakdown as easier as say a 10w30 oil to a 5w50. Would I need the thicker oil?

Yeah I think the veilside bodykit doesnt suit the skyline at all... well for my taste that is. They suit more sleeker body cars such as the supra. On a skyline they look more over the top. I have a question, the 400R bodykit is exactly the same as the Nismo GTR Vspec bodykit... why dont they just call it Nismo bodykit? Or is there with Nismo who copy their bodykits?

So the stock size speakers at the rear are 6.5" Is there a DIY in here to install a 6x9 at the rear? Because I was told that I cant fit 6x9s without taking that child thing whatever it is. And that its illegal to take that thing off. Sorry have no clue. Btw are jaycar 6.5" speakers good? Anyone had any experience?

What size can I replace the front and back with? Are the front 6" splits? Anyone know any cheap places around Penrith area?

Hi, I was curious in to what good speaker setups would be under my budget. Say under $500 if possible. I don't really have a clue about the car audio side of things. I already have 2 fusion 12" sub in a box and a fusion class d amp. I notice that my stock speakers can't really cope being with the subs. I have to keep the dvd head deck volume down so low just to hear the music without all the bass it gives. Just really have been trying to decide what speakers should I replace them with. Also after getting new speakers will I need another amp? I have no clue to what size speakers I should get because I'm worried that some don't fit. As you can tell I have no clue to how things work in the audio side of cars. Any advice would be great. Really after clear quality sound Thanks

I also would like to see the comparison between these turbos I bought one of Slides turbo... just want to see how they compare against GCG's one So when does these GT30 internally wastegate turbos come out? So how are you able to tell if its fine or not? I just wanted to be able to tell incase it does damage to the engine. Any signs at all? Until I round up enough cash to buy one and get it installed I just plan to play it safe with the stock pump for now.

Hi just curious on how much power can the stock R33 gts25t s2 cope? As in rwkw before failing? I have just installed a highflow turbo and a fmic in my car since my recent car accident. Hopefully getting the car back this week. Just really worried to how long will the fuel pump last for, im not so sure. Because with this setup I do believe that I am pushing it but I don't have the cash on me at the moment to go and buy a gtr fuel pump just as yet since the car accident. Mind you that the car is always under 4000 rpm at the most. Would it be able to handle it? Any advice? Greatly appreciated.

It really relies on what power goals you are after with all the mods you plan to put into it. If its say under 300rwkw then a 3inch should be fine without restricting air flow. Im guessing the the difference between a 3inch to a 3.5 inch is something like an extra $500?

Actually you can also retune a r33 stock ecu as long as its chipped. Mine has been remapped. If I were to change batteries then wouldnt that mean my ecu would reset? So does that mean my info on the chip would be all gone?

How efficient in its cooling purposes say a bar and plate cooler compared to a tube and fin? I notice that a lot of cheap coolers are usually bar and plate. I wonder which one would be better as in summer here in australia, its a daily driver. Mind that you give it a little push everynow and then but no track days.

Interesting to hear that stock cars actually have 2 different size turbos running. I wonder what would happen if you were to run a small turbo while the bigger turbo is still spooling like for example a T04z. Just the thought of this type of project is interesting. Even though it would seem unreasonable on the money side of things. Wouldn't it be possible to cancel out lag if this was done? Just thinking of track purposes say in trying to keep maximum power as possible on a turn and also on a straight.

So its basically the same theory as running a supercharger and a turbo at the same time right? I wonder which combo would be more stronger?

Hey I heard a stupid quote the other day. I was at a car shop the other day... one of those autobarn ones I think. Anyways I overheard this guy and he was going on about his car so much to the customers. He was saying that he owns a R33 GTR that has over 350rwkw on it. The funny thing is that he was saying all these things to these customers that were after some parts for their skyline. He claimed that he has two different sized turbos on his car. One bigger one and a smaller one. Twin turbo? And not only that he was claiming that he just finished putting extractors in his car? First of all I dont think its possible to put extractors on a turbo car right? And second, is it possible to run a twin turbo setup but to have 2 different size turbos say a 2530 and a gt30? I just couldn't believe what I was hearing. Any comments?
