  3. LOL I was at the Wine and Food Fest. at Heathcote on Sat..didnt know this was on...I thought I saw Adam's black R34 go past me when i turned off to go back to dalesford...would have been a good day for the drags...bit warmer.

  7. one of the members here works for them...if u lucky u will get him! I have done it, was fun. as mav says, they stick!
  8. yeah dyno's are gay, they bend everyone over!
  9. cant agree more with Paul. get the tune going on the dyno, then wack in Datalogit or whatever and go for a road tune...I do this a bit to get the few cells causing the issue ironed out....ur tuner should be able to do it easy...
  10. some brands quote some big numbers, saw some tests ages ago somewhere...most we're not as high as they quote. CATCO or Metal Cat were pretty good from memorym Metal Cat are pretty much the premium.. Assuming they are full of shit (better than 75% chance) and 570 isnt a huge number in the scale, you could do better,
  11. how do u know its running rich? if u smell it when cold start, every car will do that until the O2 is heated up properly which takes some time. when you flaw it? black smoke? just a tune to help reduce it...just dumping bit more fuel...i wouldnt stress at all.
  12. do they quote CFM or flow? that will answer ur question, if ur stressed take it off and de-cat...get some flames.
  13. now I want some cams!! as for injectors...been covered heaps of times, they will be 100% before u hit those power levels...so as suggested dyno prob high, dont stress prob going good..the dyno is just a number.
  14. event is great...get ur arses into gear...if u not a member...become one. After this there is the F1 AS...both are the best weekends.
  15. Happy B'Day my man. Hit the big 60? hahaha Catch u Tuesday on my come back tour.

  19. lol good to see everyone has the same issues. You only stall it cos you dont wanna look like a tool reving the car too hard, then u look like a tool for stalling it...but you get used ot it and then its fine. Peak Hour is a bitch...I only drive it on the w/e anyway.
  20. VMX80 and Syntrans have suitbale friction modifers to make your shifts go well, proven time and time again. I find the combination used in the Redline MT90 better, with better sheer ratings since its not replaced often, I go the better oil. as for the Nulon G70, never used it myself as I firmly believe in buying an oil Oil with the appropiate addiatives included.
  21. Nice choice. funny cos I'm looking for these for my wife's FTO..my mate had an older model them on his. Are great looking rims.
  22. edit...
  23. agreed. running 18x9.5 Rear and 18x8.5 front I need the extra width for the back. WOuld love to go even wider on the Rear...
  24. Redline make the MT90 manual GB oil...I have been using that with no dramas, Its been shifting quite well once its done a few thou Kms. http://www.redlineoil.com/products_gearlub...mp;categoryID=7 Castrol Syntrans is good too....but I use redline in engine, gb and diff cos I like them. I'm not a fan of the Shockproof for the GB either generally becuase its a GEAR oil and has too many friction modifiers in it.
