  8. cool PM when ur ready. I ready to go whenever you are. I know a lot of ppl in SAU Vic have talked about this, do a good job and you'll have a few more orders no doubt. Cheers.
  9. cbf reading 3 pages in case it hasnt been covered the cops can use their judgment to estimate your speed they are trained in this. The radar is, in reality, a backup device so they have two methods of estimation- read any summons when you go to court for this type of offence. Cost be a few hundred for that advice - for you its free. SAU at its finest. you gone. BMX bandits all the way...say hi to Nicole for me.
  10. I want one cbf making it myself. Do u want to do mine now? Cos i want one now.
  11. no point doing this AT ALL Filter isnt at its peak until 1/2 way though it lifecycle or over 5000kms. By chaging it more often its not filtering as good. Few tests prove this. However marginal there is def. no point chnageing it more often. I would just chnage it every OCI and use a good K&N oil filter or OEM Nissan. Ryco are shit quality.
  12. u did well mate. what tyres were u running?
  13. I owe VSP3C $20 but u had left before i got back. PM me ur bank details dood. btw good day...I finally worked out how to launch my car...practiced all the way home. LOL tried lots of things...in the end some good drag radials would have been the go.

LOL AT THIS THREAD. go to the SAU DIY race fuel thread...good info
  15. aussie site is rubbish. i have a number of emails form redline in the US and form the BITOG forum. Not a good idea, and hence why so many people have issues. their shockpoof has to many friction modifiers for the GB thats the issue. I would use their MT90. Nothing wrong with Syntrax and Syntrans GB/Diff fuilds from castrol good stuff. Not a fan of their engine oils. German Castrol is top shelf, only import though for us. GC is rated as one fo the best and has extensive UOAs to back it up.
  16. oil conversations going around based on some stuff some guy told u a while back or something u googled. Dont guess, use facts. Do UOAs and work out what it means then do I few to see what it going on. you spent 15k on an engine and then guess or skimp on ur your oil? lol People have been using Redline GEAR oil i.e. shockproof in thei GB...no suprise to me we read about them dying. Use a GB oil with the approipite friction modifiers, not a gear oil. If u change ur oil veer 2k then yeah no point use M1, Moly oils like redline need to go for some time to get the addatives to work. Make sure u use a Group 4 or 5 oil. Not this 3 stuff like the castrol being mentioned. As for extra viscosity...for a pure track car...no drama. Check the cSt ratings at 100 deg. W60s or similar have high numbers. for street...use 40 as a max...its not about piece of mind its about the right applciation. 90% of engine wear occur at startup and W50s or 60 take ages to get to op. temp. Fine for the track,
  17. Group V oils are the bee's knees. Lots of moly and good HTHS sheer ratings. (this is an oil thread btw!) Redline or Motul 300V are the brands of choice for any serious work. I do UOAs on my oil and Reldine has intresting results do to the addatives. Black is not a bad thing, I would say it means ur oil is doing the right thing! penrite and Castrol as mentioned are group IIIs. On top of that ur running a gp III with a wide visc spread...too many VIIs! Mobile 1 at a minmum...but for u Nick redline all the way for ur track work, dunno why any1 would even consider running anything less than a Group V for these type of track cars, HTHS ratings are much better i.e. better under stress and load. U should see ur engine after a few cycles...it looks brand new and shiney. Dont guess its condition...use good oil and do Use Oil Analysis (UOA) cost about $30 and will tell u exactly whats going on.
  18. No confusion here mate.
  19. K&N filter with hex nut on the top makes this easy.
  20. Swinburne started the 1 year IBL. Others copied cos they realised 3-6 months is a waste fo time. When u come back from that its amazing the difference it will make. 3 months is just a joke...u might as well just go on holidays as it takes 3-4 months just to get started. I went to Swinburne for the IBL. And glad aI did, best decission.
  21. the sticker means jack shit to me. Group 5 means a lot.
  22. Degree (under grad) Personally...f**k masters unless ur boring and cant get a job thats the only reason you would do it this young and without expereinece. You will find now you have some work experience that the degree will be much easier cos u have the drive to do it. As with most we did it straight outta high school and didnt really know wtf was going on. Those mature age guys, although I gave them shit, had drive and got good results. Like with most things...having a solid plan and the drive will ensure u make things happen. The bit of paper does help, your really learning how to think and its fairly obvious when you speak with people who dont have suitable technical qualifications.. Finally accounting is a very important thing to understand. When i did mine I did some additional MBA subjects for management and accounting which has been good stuff for me. My words of wisdom for you : Its not about having a good job, its about doing a good job that makes you happy.
  23. This mitsi uses the 6A13 engine. I've been looking to do a transplant on my FTO...bolts straight up, almost. I have seena few ppl do it already. They go pretty well I have driven one and the Galant..although I still like my 33.
  24. the only thing hard about installing an emanage is being bothered to splice the wires properly and connect them up. its not that hard really juts takes time and any1 can do it if you down load the wiring diagram form their website. The tune is pretty easy also, every1 should be able to do it these days. I have seen 3-4 jobs that the splicing has been total shit. amazing what some people get away with. However Trust have released their plug and play hardness...makes it piss easy and avaliable through Nengun.
  25. lol u cracked me up. every time I looked in my rear view ur car was sideways..
