    Vic Go Kart

Hi guys no doubt some ppl must know a thing or two about go karts. Me and a few mates wanna buy some and get into it for something to do on a more regular basis. We have been looking at the Vic Go Kart club and will go down for a chat this weeked etc. Does anyone have any good advice? I know little about them in general but I'm still gonna buy somthing and get started. Cheers Chris.
  2. Mav is the man...go with him.
  3. not sure if i will be away now as some local stuff came up. I will come help out with the timing etc . put me down for that.
  4. 1.0+ bar by 3000 easily.
  5. lol i was thinking that LOL
  6. this thread is like a blind man picking out his favourite porno.
  7. It Khunjeng's custom twin cannon system....I was bored with my HKS Superdragger and wanted something different.
  8. my weekend burn out machine.
  9. I'm going form his origioanl post. but u are right. I assume based on his posts that he would be happy with a fast street car and hence a high flow and 250-260 rwkw would be fine, great in fact.
  10. lol I had to...just couldnt see how u could without on a 33 **edit. WIth this do u have to chop the whole reo bar out? or just snip bits? as for 260rwkw with the 34SMIC - dont think so.
  11. high flow and he will be happy. screw the dyno wank off...a real 250 atw in a GTST will be heaps and you'll have a hard time putting down more without 10.5" rears , some good rubber and a good suspension setup.
  12. looks like the blitz kit is fine. You still have the Reo bar in tact and uses the stock return lines.
  13. th RB engines are quite lucky to have one the most comprehensive range of "off the shelf" turbo's avaliable for it. Do a V8 conversion, then supercharge it!
  14. 1. he hasn't said what type it is so no point giving any advice as its all speculation 2. if u have no money, wait until u do 3. Does ur car run ok? If its dirty its filters better as with all filters. Unless u can notice a massive power loss I wouldn't bother - esp. if u have no money.
  15. ya for sure. How about this, I gave it away in the end but anyway classic scene in movie history ----- Dimpus Burger Guy: Uhh, right. Beverage? F : Gimme a litre o' cola. Dimpus Burger Guy: What? F : A litre o' cola. Dimpus Burger Guy: [into mic] Litrecola? Do we sell litrecola? Thorny: Will you just order a large, Farva? F: I don't want a large farva. I want a goddamn litre o' cola! Dimpus Burger Guy: [to Farva] I don't know what that is! F : Litre is French for... give me my f**kin' cola before I break VOUS f**kIN' LIP! -----
  16. sickest front bar in the land. every says they like mine...they reckon its the goods.
  17. great video Jack! bumpy ride.
  18. 550 NISMOs will be fine new AFM as suggested Hi-Flo is fine. 250 is a good number and if ur running 180 atm, 250 will be great. Clutch...get a good one. Jim Berry would be good. Twin plate might be excessive. I have one but I dont drive it often and planed for more upgrades. ECU - go the emanage Ultimate instead of the SAFC2 - not a bad price from Nengun these days. Better yet the PFC You may need : new plugs and coil packs depending on their condition. For thsoe power levels buy the GKTech FMIC from here...works fine and it a good price. Then look at suspension and tyres for traction....no point having lots of power and u cant get it down. Phase 3!
  19. looks like it was a wicked day. Pitty I couldnt come. Great pics.
  20. I doubt u will get to 300 without a new pump.
  21. its in the manual and u can download it.
  22. nothing wrong we BP Ultimate. Persoanlly I got better results with this fiuel and it is usually easy for me to get. However in the near future I will be using BP + my own mixture of toluene. Before anyone asks. We already have a thread on it spanning 5 years. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...?showtopic=3059
  23. IMO all the supporting mods for that output would include injectors. The duty would be close if not 100% at high RPM i.e. it its static. Its is not recommended to exceed 80% duty cycle. Otherwise you will run the risk of the injector not being able to open and close quickly enough, which causes the injector to float half open. This may lean the mixture out, which is not going to healthy for an engine at high revs and under full load which is where this occurs. Under static conditions the injector cannot control fuel delivery anymore and based on this my assumption is why ppl see good results from installing an FPRs to simply add more fuel under this circumstance. IMO this would be the caveman approach. There is an arguement that it only happens at high RPM and that doesnt happen all the time. As mentioned before the AFRs would be a good guide to see if this is happening. IMO if ur spending the money on everything else just buy some 550cc NISMO ones and be done with it for an app under 280 rwkw
  24. Thats true. Thats what I did.
