  6. spec'd at 4.7 0-100 they r an impressive family car
  7. wowo good results with the new style leds. The other pics resemble efforts I have done before and I just went back to globes cos it pissed me off too much. Should get mine this week and I will take a pic. I got white and blue...blue for the line and white for the FTO as I have blue/red dials...will look awsome.
  8. nice...I'm still waiting for mine to be delivered. looks like it will be good.
  9. hey guys and thanks Geoff...I always listen when u talk. My boat is a trailable yacht, 30ft about the biggest u can tow and weights about 2.4 tonnes with all the crap in it. It not actually mine But I have been towing it down to Gipsland lakes where my old man has a holiday house and using his landcruiser...I find it pretty easy to tow. Although I'm no guru, I have been towing this kind of boat a bit ..I couldn't imange doing it in a sedan. My mates dada was towing a rather large power boat down there once and was going to fast, did the death wobble and bam..lucky no1 was hurt. That always scared me after that...I was in the car! Chris.
  10. I actually worked it all out. I did the PS from the top and got everything off and then on. I found getting at the adjustment bolt was near impossible. So essentially I used wear and dirt on the bolt as a guide to adjustment and simply held the PS in place then tightened. Not the best, but its not loose and not easy to tighten it too much & doesn't make any noises. I did some rough tension tests and it seemed ok. As for the rest they are quite easy once you have sussed out the PS. Case closed. thx for every1s advice...most of it was handy.
  11. good info. I just used a Ryco and also thought it was kinda crap not having the seal on it. I did my FTO also and got a OEM one and it was a silicone one also... damn...should have read this earlier...read up pplz!! The oil filter sit shigher than the sum yeah?
  12. I recently installed a VG30 AFM which diretcly bolts on to the rb25 intake. I was told its good for 350rwkw I was of the impressed the VG30 is the same or similar to the Z32 AFM. Can some1 confirm. THe VG30 I assume means it came off a 300ZX type engine and the Z32 is the AFM type. I followed the following process after reading stuff here. Get a new ECU - at the time I had an Emanage installed which was ok to a point Zorst inc. 730CFM cat Dump/front pipe AFM + fuel pump + manual boost control Turbo upgarde - custom high flow in my case FMIC AVCR for better boost control Injectors CAI setup - although I did this more for the looks. PFC - is comming in 1 week. This gets you a good results on the road, not so good for your bank balance
  13. hi guys GREDDY E-MANAGE up for sale to make way for my Power FC install in 1-2 weeks. Comes with the standard harness/wiring. Location : Melb Asking Price : $500 incl delivery anywhere. link for more info : http://www.importscene.com.au/prod663.htm THis was running in my S1 R33 but max'd out at ~240rwkw. The car is can make over 300 and the powerFC is required to smmoth delivery up to those numbers. For a stock or lower power application its perfect. With just a cat back and the emanage and fuel pump upgrade I ran 175rwkw on 7psi thx.
  14. heya TS can't wait to see the pics. where are u guys located as I'm intrested in some other stuff also.. I would like to pop down.
  15. ok guys...get a front bar that is a little more unique and suttle design for ur r33. Fits a 600x 300x 76mm FMIC perfectly and has a good opening for the airflow - but I will re loacte my plate sooner or later... here are before an after pics on my r33. no guesisng which one I like the most. took this pic today...
  16. what model is that and does it play MP3s?
  17. one questions I have always wondered is assimung ur've upgraded your turbo, AFM, injectors, fuel pump PFC blah blah and your making a good 300+rwkw...at what point do u need to consider internal upgrades or is this dependant on how hard you drive it? In a street app where you may only trash it occasionally...I'm wondering how the internals hold up over a 1-2 year peroid..on say 1bar or just a little over. Just intrested as I have a RB25 with the same mods and similar output as this dyno i.e. about 300rwk on 1bar and all the goodies...now I'm wondering how long the engine will last hehe.
  18. ya gkteck...think garry is his name. Give gazza a pm...I got good results form his FMIC.
  19. some1 had a go at me driving a landcruiser at the shops not long back...said some stuff like this to me. My Answer : "I have a boat u tosser, try towing that with ur fu&king magna" 4WDs are not just good for off road use.
  20. just show them the part numbers, they are different which is a pretty good indication they are different parts.
  21. wtf? can't be serious..its coolant.
  22. there u go...thanks!
  23. I'm pretty sure thats what Chris told me mate. Maybe I'm wrong stranger things have happened Anyway its a mute point cos they are the best and I would only go there for all your wheel and suspension needs.
  24. I did some tests in both my cars on the extreeme and ultimate. Correct me if I'm wrong by most jap imports ecus are designed for 100RON but can adjust enough for comprensate as required. anyway regardless of if thats true or not, I ran 5 tanks on the xtreeme and 5 on the ultimate, ultimate ran better and I got the same kms, if not slightly more but hard to really tell. So I decided just to buy ultimate cos its just downt he road. Saying you get over 500kms its not really relevant unless u stipulate what type of driving your doing. I drive to my holiday houe and get over 600km and in CBD driving and peak hour I might get only 420...
  25. Centreline just send it down to Goodyear for the basic wheel alignment stuff. But they are gurus on the rest of the setup.
