I tested out mine on my FTO first...using most fo the products above...comes up nice. I will be doing the line next. I found the trick was as in the previous post...use the pad to apply and work in the product. I used the clay, Scratch X, Deep Crystal Polish, NXT Tech Wax...car came up really good...just takes a while. Some1 reckons that the autoglym "deep gloss shine" is really better....wont know unless I try it. Also some1 was reckons Mothers Reflections advanced top coat over the wax?? I don't see the point of it though but they reckon its awsome.

yeah ur right...just bought 5 x white and 5 x blue for both cars...should be fine. My issue is the directional light from the LEDS...this should help even it out..

Suk LEDS...looking for ones like these for ages...T10s by the dimentions...These already have the resistor and are pretty much a direct replacement in the holder...might need some cutting of the wedge, can u confirm??

done this a few times in a fair few clusters but never really got LEDS to give out even light...although was ok...just some bright spots one was is to but these 5 led setups that are still T5/T10 wedge types and u can bend the leds on a numnber of angles to get good light...in the end I cbf and just left mine...will do the r33 soon also..pretty easy. I actually found an upgrade of the globes not LEDS with a condom type cover u can buy at autobahn worked really good in one setup...really cheep. Not sure if the Line has T6.5s (i think it is) but it can fit a T10 sized globe and wack on the blue (or any other color for that matter). Might do iti next wekeend.

ok whats a good product for a good cut for those harder or more severe scratches?? any particular method for these bits? or just get it on the area and work it in, polish it up and wax it as per normal...

If the pressure release valve (or BOV) contains a horn or small holes/vents it will cause the air to make a louder/higher pitched sound depending on what is used. so its def. the sound adjustment...

yeah I'm with Just Cars for all my cars. When smashed my r33 I even negotiated a higher agreed value over the phone after the fact based on mods I had not called them about cos they were new...I was really happy with that. Although they ended up fixing it and fixed it good incl. a diff. front bar etc and some other choice changes I got them to do for free - by them I mean the panel guys.

hehehe...i wold have thought most ppl would have aftermarket ECUs and boost controllers... Pods and ICs are visible and hence gain the majority of the attention. Just don't drive like a hoon or be on P plates...The insurance companies don't seem to care much, having made a massive claim with most of these known on their books they still payed out no quetsions asked. I would have thought they would go to town on this stuff, maybe they do sometimes and I was just lucky.

the f6 seemed to be good bang for your buck, but I would rather get someting not quite as common as a ford. lol i just go rid of mine... I would be look at a car thats 2-3 years old and had the majority of the deprciation hit already - but still turns heads. As for the car allowence, make sure you work it our correctly i.e. don't spend it all on the car itself and find u need to spend money post tax on stuff if you can avoid it.

yup. been done before. In fact on my FTO I made it such that i can move the pod to the front grill and I have a connector piece from the front pipe to the normal intake pipe. Ia lso have some mesh to help protect it. Works really well, because you are pushing the air straight it...it works really well. But not the best idea out the front...only for those track or crusie days. be prepared to get a new pod though!
