i remember filling up the old mans newly imported Bronco back in 1990 from the states for 9c per litre on LPG - it was like $10 for 120l!
  5. tuedays sounds good to me, friday is not so good.
  6. a simple translation to english words are 100% correct apart from the missing letters. When you say it in Thai thats how u say it...there is a lesson for ya.
  7. When fade started ooccur I went some new dot 5 and brained lines. Seemed to fix that up mostly. I'm not sure about the locking of the wheels cos I dont have ABS so yeah locing is quite easy. I will probably just go a new set of pads this round and see how that goes.
  8. Guys, I'm looking to do a brake upgarde on my 33 GTST. The current setup is stock rotor/caliper with some endless pads, brained lines and dot 4/5 fluid cant remember. I found the newer fluid and braided lines good on my last track day. usually do about 4-5 hot laps. I feel like spending some more cash and wanted a new setup to match my power for the track, currently 270rwkw. I was simply thinking of a slotted rotor and pad upgrade front an rear. Howeer I have read many mixed opinions of different rotors. Dont want any crazy setups...just a nice upgrade to help with those hill climbs and track days to give me a bit more confidence. Anyway options requested. Cheers.
  9. 5m is not much. I burn more than 5m a year in PMO activity only.
  10. doesnt take a genius to work out where the bottle nexk will be on the eastern during peak hour.
  11. yeah packed before...went up and back...only heavy in the tunnel city direction. Pretty quick to get everywhere. As for the 5mil spent on the art..meh 5mil is sweet fa. still looks gay, especially that bird wtf is that suposed to represent?

  13. this is the guy he is buying them from in Melb. Actually I know him well and have these in a few other cars. I have seen the R33 done and its quite good. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Seat-Covers-NISSAN-...idZp1638Q2em124 They are fitted and shit loads better than the otehr ones I have seen. They take some time to fit as they are a direct replacement to your origional covers...its a DIY job but comes up nice.
  14. how about this for specific
  15. Not sure where 47klm or the dandy drag strip has to do with the on and off ramps as per the origional post.

  17. yeah thanks Cubes...not farmiliar with cradle rake. my tyres are the issue, they are hankook 104s x 265s and are a bit old....more slip than before they have done a good 5 track days...not in great shape. Been waiting to try some PROXES R1R
  18. no doubt a GTR is better than a GTST. I have a GTST with 270rwkw and its great fun to drive and particularly on the twisties control your in an out speeds has been some getting use to for me, but its intresting. Launch is a bit gay...but I must stay the slip slide of the RWD on launch is fun...its not fun when u hit peak torque and loose traction in third...although I recently adjusted my camber setup for corner speed.. I would like to have a GTR...and I could if I wanted but now, but I have mine its a real handfull to drive, keeps me intrested and is quite fun... My best run down the 1/4 was 12.5 but again launch could be better, but my terminal speed is constantly 116MPH....so it has some speed...its just the launch that holds it back from a low 12. We all know a stock GTR will neraly match this...few mods and eat it easily... If u have the choice, GTR FTW IMO
  19. when I was looking through them at a control centre demo last week they seemed pretty real to me.

  25. heheh 333 - old school. I still go there often for meetings, funny enough on the same level I used to work in. I'm not close really anymore, I'm in the PWC Building on Southbank, but travel often to Spring street these days and have coffee quite often at the European. good to see you back in the action.
