  1. Its the difference in comp wheel engineering, and with a .70 comp housing. It was fairly responsive, had full boost by 3800rpms. I didn't get a boost curve, I will see trent again soon and grab a copy.
  2. ATR43G3 twiked version in .82 with high pressure actuator set at 17psi: R33 RB25det fully stock 800cc injectors Nistune ECU Z32 AFM 600x300x75mm FMIC 3inch turbo back exhaust 3inch intake pipe with pod. 98 Fuel.
  3. This is a slight twiked version of ATR43G3 .82 rear that is commercially available. It made 290rwkws@17psi with actual 200rwkws @ 4000RPMs. Turbo's capable of pushing over 300rwkws. Customer's concert about his engine. Fully stock R33 RB25det engine with stock cams and cam gears 98 fuel. So for 200rwkws by 4000RPMS in .82 rear is possbile, and we've done it on a fully standard setup, 98 fuel with our turbocharger.
  4. Limpus this specific turbo is not released. I'm testing lots of different combinations on mine and few others for the best result. and in general speaking there is not best results, there can only be better results. All prototype units has been offered at a discounted price with the tester knowing what it is. HKS2530 can not hold 20psi by 7000RPMS internally gated on a stock RB25det setup. There are plenty of sheets proven it can't, find me one that can.
  5. Well I posted the other sheet as it is very possible for a near 300rwkws setup to appears more responsive in power curve as it is done 4th gear with paddle to the floor. Does not mean its got better driving ability in lower gears. Secondly the torque factory is missing in 2530's dyno reading, I'm really interested to see the torque difference in between the 2x housings. I expect more torque with .86 rear. Black_CSR: I've got few different profiles in mind. I'm very interested to see what a 2871 52T profile would do in .86 rear housing. Please check PM.
  6. ^^^ In this case would you call a larger turbo. http://www.digi-hardware.com/images/dynosh...G363295rwkw.jpg is making more power every where then your 2530 result: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/post-a279850- On the same dyno same tuner with 80KWs more peek? Any way, For any 2530s on RB25dets there is no way it can hold 20psi. Reason been is due to the size of its rear housing, and size of the comp wheel. Like disco said the comp wheel side is different to a traditional 2860RS, I've managed to trim the exact wheel spec as the 2530. This turbo was and sold as an experimental unit, I can make it hold 20psi @ 7000RPMS, how ever I don't think it will make much difference in max power, on the other hand probably make less power due to excessive heat, Its not a high boost turbo. How ever I'm not sure what sort of torque the 2530 has, generally .86 rear housing would had more torque compare to a .64 rear. Black_CSR: if you don't mind to do further testing I can install a gate controller and a high pressure actuator to see what it does holding 20psi.
  7. I got a Dr.drift remaped one that is made to work with stock turbo and fuel system to 210rwkws with dyno result. $300 PM if interested.
  8. got 2x brand new Garrett 2860-5 for $2300 inc GST. PM if interested
  9. Got a high flowed R33 turbo came off a test car for $900 with oil line and 12 month warranty. Pm if interested.
  10. Mine is in mid night purple. Its currently registered with RWC done 2 weeks ago with foriged engine making 305rwkws with all supporting mods at this stage.
  11. Hi Guys needs a used stock R33 2x door GTST front bar in the 95 model shape. Or any aftermarket bars that fits stock sideskirts. PM me a photo of what you got. Looking to pay around $100 depending on what it is.
  12. Crans: Well Its a ATR28 not ATR43 so there is a slight difference in housing position. Before you remove he turbo. Can you check to see if your Vtec controller is working? I'm currently having intermediate issues with it and there is a massive difference in response when its playing up. See if you can get a Tick sound when power is connected to the controller. Little update: We are working on Ceramic ball bearing cartridges at this stage. its very difficult in finding the right bearings and modifying bearing housings to fit. It will be a water cooled Duel ceramic cartridged core. Should have a hopefully working prototype this weekend. Fingers crossed.
  13. If few cycs just "little low" then probably won't matter too much. Also depending on the high flow profile that you have which seems to be running too hot and out of puff up top. Dyno it again with 3inch metal intake and dropped exhaust, see if that makes any difference.
  14. GT3082 doesn't existed as a Garrett factory unit. It running a 82mm comp wheel from 3582R with a GT30 turbine wheel in hope to produce more power with just noticeable lag. Personally this is not what I would recommend. Reason been is the comp wheel is too big for the flow capacity of the turbine wheel. resulting high back pressure, heat, boost control issues, and will not produce much more then what a GT3076 56T is capable of producing. How ever you can run a customized 58T 76mm comp wheel on the GT30 turbine wheel to produce similar result with better response. Except 76 58T is not a standard size wheel that you can buy, which you have to machine your own.
  15. happened to one of my friend's car. Engine's freshly built. Mechanic found one cam gear was very spinable while installing timing belt. Brand new cam shaft in half on engine stand. I would say its manufacturing related. Email Tomei and ask them for exchange.
  16. Generally this happens when the mechanic tries to rotate the housing or part the turbo for unknown reasons without adjust the actuator rod to the right length. Tozzle's turbo was parted by his mechanic pre-installation. I'm not sure if all bits lined up back to what it was. By design nothing should hit or Jam, and we check that before it was sent out. ATR43 Turbocharger involves labor from 3 experienced engineers to complete with many man hours spent. I'll be happy to go through our work, in case of any of our human errors or defects at no cost as part of our warranty policy. Crane: With your ATR28 unit, I've asked you to return it for checkup for numerous times, the end result is beneficial to your self. You do not have to worry about warranty expiry, No charges will be laid on you, So please act. Please do contact us or email us for assistance if any one else experiencing any difficulties with any of our services. We are here to help and assist.
  17. Quick update: This is for people with certain models of WRX or Legacy. This is the high flow service for the RHF5 factory turbo chargers. Which we modify them in to sleeve / BB 2860RS specifications. Good for 320HP. Please click below for more information:
  18. RB20det factory turbocharger.
  19. why not just get a high pressure actuator. Hold 20psi with no boost controller.
  20. If the car's been tuned perfectly with 19 psi it will not cause any problems. Those actuators are $100 each on their own.
  21. The actuator I fitted is in 20psi. Should hold around 19psi with no boost controller or 19 psi is the minimum boost you can run once setup correctly. Keep it on 19psi, lot more fun then 15psi .
  22. Technically the turbo is engineered to last the same amount of mileage as the actual engine in standard setup. I guess that doesn't work so well or there won't be any turbo re-builders.
  23. I took a video of how the actuator should be adjusted. This must be done every time the actuator bracket or housing position is altered. I've written done the steps in my video description. Its a 5 mints job to do. Will notice massive difference in response once done. Need to get the car checked on dyno once all set correctly.
