I would high flow the factory turbocharger using a ball bearing core with a G2 or a SS15 profiled wheel sets. the SS15 is a better choice for power and response.

Assume its on a welly built SR with a good free flow setup, you will match result of Top stages S14 listed above.

Some results to share, This time is from Justin's drift car running with one of our ATR45SAT ceramic ball bearing turbocharger. R33 GTST unopened engine. Should see 420rwkws at full potential.

This particular SR20det engine is something built by forcedmotor works 4 years ago. It run one of our ATR45SAT turbo compete and won WTAC Open class in 2016 and is still a current world record holder of the fastest SR on Wakefield. Its on a single T3 scroll manifold running external gate, and that pumped 400rwkws on E85 fuel, 28psi by 4250RPM. Far as I know its just a standard rebuild, no VCT with forged pistons with 264 / 256 Tomei Pro cams. For around 350rwkws mark I will be recommending this turbocharger.

Action Dan: Yes. the factory exhaust manifold is a restriction and SR needs cams to make power. Plus your usual free flow FMIC, induction and exhaust.

With the bush bearing recommendation was referring to the Rb25det 21U G2 high flow. Mainly because the housings are small enough to generate a very responsive out come, BB or not doesn't make much differences. But for anything else BB is recommended.
-
Super-Drager: Anti surge sleeve is ready but I haven't had too much time on it in further developments as I'm trying to get everyone's order completed for the time been. Action Dan: For a super responsive 300rwkws E85 turbo I recommend our ATR28SS15 BB version. Result taken from a track car with built engine with 272/12 cams. No VCT Pattey21: R33 G2 profile is recommended to run in a bush bearing setup, the configuration I use is already very responsive the way it is, which hits 20psi just before 3500RPM. I Can make it bb if you prefer.

Some videos to share from Victoria Time attack, we've taken 3rd in street class and first in the fast RWD series. Car is above, R33 GTST stock engine running one of our high flowed OP6 R34 turbocharger making 328rwkws internally gated on E85 fuel.

Check for intake side leaks, make sure actuator is correctly shut and preloaded, Set cam gears to 0 degrees. This is result form my test car, unfortunately it had a broken piston in cyc 6 and could not stop miss firing up top. It made 215rwkws, 20psi by 4000RPM. Some vids from Vicdrift round 1. We've taken first, car's powered by one of our ATR43G3SAT turbochargers, pulling 360rwkws on E85 fuel externally gated stock engine.

Big thanks for Lithium for the information above. Some video footages from Cam Martins car last week. R33 GTST powered by one of our ATR45SAT turbocharger making 320rwkws Pump externally gated.

Hi, the Car's running 22psi to produce results above. With that FFP modifications, one of my tuners did mention it feeds CYC 5 and 6 more air then the rest causing them to run lean. I don't have personal experiences with them, so I can't comment.

Great result to share from Garage 7 tuned Rb25det Neo powered S14 running using one of our TD06SL205 turbochargers. This is an custom built turbo based in a TD06 rear end, externally gated. Car has: 1000cc Injectors, Link ECU G4+ Storm Flex Fuel and usual supporting mods. Peek power made: 308rwkw on 98 and 378rwkw on E85. The ATR45SS-1 I'm pretty happy with and I would run that on Rb25det with a smaller rear end. when tested on the 2JZ, The response is almost identical to the normal ATR45 that made 30kws more. This particular comp wheel works with a normal ATR45 turbine.
-
For 450rwkws ATR45SS-1 with 63mm billet wheel will do. Next size can do 520rwkws+ on E85 they works extremely well with XR6 BA/FA, but would be considerably laggier working with a 3L.

Hi, Rb30det is different to Rb25det, its heaps more responsive. Both ATR45 and ATR45SS works fine depending on how much power u r chasing for. I've personally used an 700HP ATR45SAT in a 2JZGTE no VVTI, the end result would be very similar to a Rb30det. Car made 406rwkws @ 20psi on P98 fuel, full boost by by 4000RPM. So what sort of power r u chasing for and will the car be running on E85 or P98?
-
My personal best was 320rwkws on E85 fuel. This car actually made more power. Looks like its got FFP, cooler and exhaust plus fuel and ecu. It might have cams as the power curve lookes like it has no active vct.

For a internally gated setup the flow of the engine system is strongly dependent on the exhaust, so in a common scenario it will be what ever an 3 inches exhaust can flow, and that is usually up to around 400HP wheels. Anything rated to higher power levels is recommended to work with an external gate unless can run a big straight pipe to ground. Far as power and response, I recommend our latest Ball bearing ATR43SAT series. ATR45SAT (Note: ATR45 (3582) and ATR45SAT are very different turbos) is capable of making alot more power if externally gated is in mind.
