Hoo yea. thats that Black R32 guy. Its abit of sad funny as I rang him for a copy of dyno sheet and he was asking me if any one found his car any where.
-
TR43G3 is later on called a TR43i. Yes we've maxed that on a CA at 300rwkws with 24psi of boost. For standard build RB25det engine with 19psi of boost internal gate. it should get some where around 250~270rwkws. We also managed to high flow GT15 turbo off a single soarer with ATR28G3 spec. The GT15's got lot bigger turbine housings. So in case you got a Soarer with a blown turbo we can also make it work.
-
TR43 G2 is running a .63 rear which is what the OP6 Rears are. But with a Vband rear. If you have a OP6 rear already then we can just high flow that. Less headaces when putting every thing back. Response wise I would say its touch bit laggier then before high flow.
-
The housings of them are the same as R33 RB25det. So the max you can get is about 230rwkws after high flow. Go for a TR43 G2 if you want 250rwkws ish.
-
lol I guess you might want to go back to Trent for a quick dyno run after you burn out the current clutch. Should see some power improvements.
-
I've never realised its on Stock Clutch. Do you think it might have slipped some KWs away?
-
This might be interesting for some SR20 and CA18 people. TR28KAI .64 version on CA18det with 256 Dur / 8.9mm lift cams, Z32AFM, Nistune, 700cc injectors and usual mods. Car made 220rwkws at 1.3 Bar (18.2PSI) and 240rwkws at 1.6 Bar (22.4 PSI) on BP Ultimate 98 Fuel Dyno done on 4th Gear. But unfortunately the Boost analyzer broke on the dyno. Turbo was hitting 1.6 bar at about 3600RPM

Air leak some where? definitly not normal. also check to see if you still have all fins attached to both turbo wheels.
-
If you see oil mixed with coolent its probably head gasket gone.

T3 Turbo Differences? Rb25/ Rb30. High Flows?
hypergear replied to sriver killer's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
This bolt pattern won't fit your stock setup. The dump pipe pattern is different. You can send in your stock turbo for high flow. We can make it flow 230rwkws with your stock housings. -
What Turbo Is This? I Have Pics
hypergear replied to reNEGaDe88's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
This is a Stock turbo off a 280ZX VG30DET Turbo motor. we've high flowed a few, they works quite good after been high flowed. -
No. This is due to a shit design of the fuel pump of how they added a very fine micro filter on the bottom of it. when dirt blocks up the filter, the pump can't suck in fuel so it drains all the power trying to suck harder and makes a very loud noise. I've had the same problem which I had to clean the pump and tank once a year. I ended up removing that filter and it never played up again.. Hoo just make sure you run a good fuel filter.
-
Geraus you need to find a OP6 Rear turbine housing from some R34 skylines and VG30 engines. You will get similar results with those. Stock R33 turbine housing won't flow enough.
-
Actually the one fitted on to Dean's car is a TR43i and the one on yours is a older version of TR43. The "i" model is a very different turbo compare to the standard. They are run on bigger .63 rear with lot bigger internals.
-
Well its abit hard to say. First of all I'm not getting commission for referring them jobs. The people there are very genuine, their job quality has been good and they've been working on my cars since 2002 when I used to be a Jap car importer. I understand shit do happens to performance cars some times on the last minute, the important thing is that they are happy to go over their work if things goes wrong, and I won't put people’s joy and pride into untrust worthy hands. Any way, The turbo is a TR43i 500HP .63 internally gated version. Which we pulled out 300rwkws with on a CA18det at Trents.
-
The OP6 housing worked well with our ATR28G3 CHRA. I was hopping to see about 270rwkws as We maxed that CHRA at 282rwkws with with a Ca18det and .64 T2x internally gated housing. I guess with a Massive pod, and 3inch decat exhaust at 20psi of boost you might see another 10~15rwkws which would be about the max flow for the OP6 rear housings. The next upgrade would be highflowing with AVO's .63 and .71 turbine housing with a higher trimed 76 or 82mm compressor.

Fluctuating Oil Pressure
hypergear replied to G Kanobi's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I've been importing cars for a number of years I don't think most of them work probably due to its age. Some of them don't even move. As long as the car's driving good you don't really have to worry about that gauge much. -
Yes can supply a Vband flange to suit. With boost creep it depends on the size of the wastegate. The one you saw on the photo has been machined out to 31mm. Thats the biggest we can go, I haven't seen them spike yet. Price wise at moment they are $1700. It Depends on Garrett's Whole sale price on Australia.
-
I've spoken to next door they said it will be done this afternoon and you can come in to pick it up. They said they were a day behind schedule, No one is going to steal you car. Don't panic.
-
Its just a 6 bolt flange made to join your stock dump. Just have to make sure the wastegate port is big enough.
-
Rotamasters use AVO's R33 turbine housings . With the Boost creep thing if you can machine your internal wastegate whole to about 29mm its alright. I'm pretty sure they will machine it before give you the turbo.
-
I'm not sure if your mechanic had to rotate the comp housing or turbine housing for any reasons. But if they did you must adjust the actuator to make sure the wastegate flap is 100% shut with pre-load. Here's a small video of how its been done. You might want to give it a try: http://www.digi-hardware.com/turboactuator/MVI_0002.AVI

We can supply that part for $380 includint Tax. I've PMed you with the CHRA details that suit it. Please check.
-
If BOV blocked and not leaking then its good. Check to see if you have cooler pipes or silicon pipes that are split. check adjustment on the actuator make sure the wastegate is 100% shut. Also you purchased a braided oil line for us as well, was that installed?
