R33 Stock Side Feed Fuel Rail And Fpr? For E85, 400rwkw
hypergear replied to HIKAR1's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I was making 490rwkws E85 on stock fuel rail and lines. They are fine. -
Another option I've missed out, for the cheapest option that is programmed to improve factory setup's performance. Check Toshi's remap service. They are only around $500 ish.
-
We can supply adaptronic ecu. That is a plug in ecu with base tune map. Supports map sensor and they pretty cheap too.
-
Integrating new ideas into ball bearing CHRAs, it is to increasing bearing speed and reducing oil drag. Prototype went in working with a SS4 turbocharger, took over a minute to shut down after engine is powered off from idle. Drives pretty good, dyno tuning tomorrow.

Hope every one had a lovely new year. I've spent a lot of time but haven't had alot of luck with the GTR yet, I've fitted over 20 different combination of turbochargers to it and yet can not get it to reach 20psi any quicker then 4300RPM. Due to the lack of VCT, the head doesn't like boost down low either, result in a violent surge working with smaller turbochargers, Then the only way out is by creating more lag. How ever I'm narrowing down to a few sets of wheel and housing combinations for the most responsive 400awkws as possible. Will be doing further evaluations with it using adjustable cam gears down the track. Result sent in by another member that is currently using our 21U high flow running E85 fuel making a super responsive 311rwkws on 20psi internally gated. That is on a R33 Rb25det stock engine.

How To Fix/avoid Reversion Stalling.
hypergear replied to Philr32's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Because the AFM is a hot wire it can not identify which way air is traveling, in many cases the ECU commends for more fuel when there is a current change, that includes when air is bounced at it through the turbocharger. It causes an momentarily richness, hence the idle hunt or stall. To fix it, Trace the tables in primary fuel map of when the engine is off throttle, deduct a small VE of fuel out of those blocks, and that usually does the trick. -
That looks like a -5 turbine, Probably accommodated with a 60mm compressor wheel. Should perform similarly as -5s.

Autobahn88 Vs Kls Power Spirit Vs Stock Intercooler
hypergear replied to Tabs's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I could only get out 326awkws out of my GTR 33's stock cooler and I've tried three different turbos. I'm currently using a cheap Jap branded made in China cooler in 600x300x100mm and that worked extremely well. Read the last few pages on my thread, and there are dyno readings shown power, boost and torque changes going up from stock cooler to 600x300x68mm then to 600x300x100mm using the same turbo. -
Express option is available to chice from on our site, default is parcel post with insurance. How ever during xmas break delivery time can be unpredictable.

Same shape as this, but bit thicker. It just fits in between the fan and front bumper with the factory mesh removed. Its pretty good for a cheap cooler.
-
further update on the GTR single setup. Now will be evaluating based on a custom trimmed SS3 compressor wheel. Hopping to reach 400rwkws mark with peek boost hit close to 4000RPM as possible. Results will be updated once tuner get back from holidays next years.

Hi guys the cooler thats on it has a jap name but I'm sure its made in China. The one I'm using cost $195. Pm if any one needs one. My 600x300x68mm cooler is for sale also, did one dyno run only, $180. This car its pretty much a rear wheel drive, front wheels only comes in for few secs, its not always on. Trent mentioned it picks up a tinny bit of extra torque with front drive shaft removed, and its not worth his efforts removing it. So all the runs done after the SL20.5 turbo has front wheels engaged.

Rb26 Turbo Upgrade, All Dyno Results

ATR43SS2.5 Alpha final run on E85, GTR-R33. made 367awkws on 20psi. I've included dyno videos of the same turbocharger running both P98 and E85 fuel:

Large Turbine + Tiny A/r Vs Small Turbine + Small A/r
hypergear replied to Skepticism's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
read through my thread. Its got all combinations mentioned above with results. -
This is result from the Peter's dead T67 earlier, It is now rebuilt and high flowed running our ATR43G4 CHRA assembly, pulled 404awkws E85, fuel pump leaned out. Its now tested and ready for pickup. This assembly is good enough to pull around 430awkws with a new pump. I don't think I will be chasing for more power at this stage, But will be working to get better response. Video added:

Intercooler restriction. that car made identical amount of power using OP6 high flow, SS2 and now a G4 (3582 equivalent). They all can only be boosted to 16psi with actuator disconnected. Similar behavior to when I was using stock GTR33 cooler, this one is alot worse.
-
Also for few customers reports boost tappering issues on their RBs. Check your pressure drop across your intercooler. Some of you might be surprised of how much boost it actually restricts. Below is a dyno log on a ATR45 using a return flow cooler, with customer defending for his 20 Cents junk. Green is before cooler, and Red/pink is after cooler. I found this issue with people using Blitz front mount and return flows also. If this is a scenario on your setup, get a tube n fin, 600x300x100mm cooler, we can supply that for under $200, and that has been tested and works.
-
As mentioned earlier I've upgraded the intercooler on the R33 GTR from 600x300x68mm to 600x300x100mm. Using the same ATR43SS25 Alpha turbocharger, it managed to hold more boost on less boost controller duty, 10 degrees less in air temp, picked up more mid to top range, and the penalty in response is 100RPM. By now, I have a good platform for turbocharger related evaluation and testing.
-
Yes SS1PU is made to do the same sort of power as the OP6 high flow but with stock alike response, thats a very good option as well.
-
For 260rwkws, sell your OP6 and buy and send in a blown R33 turbo. Once that is high flowed, it will be making around 260rwkws with factory responds. Got the GTR pulling 404akws today using a high flowed blown kando T67 (from Peter). And did back to back test with few different coolers, will upload results shortly.

Was the high flow done through us, and would u know the date it was built? It would be great if i can get some info on the high flow.

This is a dyno reading sent in from US, based on our Standard 21U high flowed turbocharger on Rb25det running pump 93 fuel. 270rwkws/363rwkhp @ 20psi:

How Much Boost Can R33 Internals Handle?
hypergear replied to Timtam72's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
At optimum ignition advance, the factory engine head starts to valve float around 22psi. Neo motors don't seems to have this problem tho.
