  1. its ok. I will keep one in stock, so just ring before dropping by, you can pay upon collection
  2. Honestly you might just want to source me a 2nd hand HTA turbo and I can have it copied and modified in Australia to what ever shape you want at a fraction of the time. How ever it takes lot of time and effort to develop a successful compressor wheel, even thou been a competitor I respect their work. Which I'm happy to spend time and modify one of my own wheels to match or beat their performance but I will never copy their work. Obviously unlike people marks their profits based on copying other people's hard work, since the formation of their business all they've done is making good counterfeits out of many successful competitors products then dump them at a fraction of the costs. That is particularly harmful for the original developers, if that carries on then no one will be welling to invest their time and efforts in better products. So if you want a HTA item and can't afford it now, then save up for it with respect. Do not cheap it out.
  3. Great work man. Thats excellent result.
  4. I can build you one for $1000 delivered with oil line. No donnor turbo required. PM if interested.
  5. Yes I can have one built and ready for pickup.
  6. that would be 2.5 inches outlet with a 4inches inlet. Usually run a 2.5 inches 90 degrees long leg pipe to the factory cooler piping and a 4 inches metal induction pipe with pod.
  7. That was with E85 with a SL20.5 @18psi, not SS2. Its also a 180sx that does not have VCT as the S14s do, it should come up pretty close response wise if working a S14/S15. In which my self is also interested to see that and the SSxx series runs on one. But either way this is a turbocharger that has larger wheels on both compressor and turbine side, that will reach higher power figures compare to a TD05, in which the smaller TD05 should in return with better response, That is only comparing to a standard item. There is a bit of science behind billet wheels profiling, in which many of my earlier prototypes didn't work as expected. Obviously drawing the right wheel is now easier by understanding what part of the wheel does what after collecting and analyzing a fair amount of dyno data. Traditional turbocharging with alteration in compressor wheel only result in minimum gain, I'm spending time in making a workable internally gated Alpha series turbocharger for RB25det, which will also work with SR20det engines, that will result in a more significant gain in terms of power and response.
  8. SS2 is a better turbo compare to the G3. it eliminated the internal gate boost dropping issue through compressor blade profile. So when used as stock replacement it makes better power and response. I only build turbocharger, I don't work on cars (apart from my own). but I can organize a good mechanic that I work with to have the new turbocharger installed.
  9. I will make some thing better for the dyno testing. This one was just to see how do able it was. Even tho it looked crap, that was alot of work. Here's some thing better looking: I've restored a T04Z which some guy was about to throw out into the dump. It had a bent shaft, warped turbine ring grove, balancing was out 300% (funny how it was sold like that and no wonder it was very noisy). Plus some inexperienced mechanic stripped it and damaged the thrust pin and bearing caging. Good thing is the original bearing cartridge didn't look to bad. Other wise I will not be able to restore it. Its also fitted with our SS3's .70 comp housing and a split pulse .84 turbine housing: Far as I know it will be going to a GTR and make some very lazy KWs, likely it will be back for the VNT module upgrade in near future.
  10. Well it doesn't have any room any where else for plumb back. Thats pretty much the only spot that can be plumbed back with. Alternatively I can make them with a bit of a dump pipe, that will make the plumbing much easier.
  11. Well for people whom have purchased our turbos I offer cost price on every thing else, it makes a pretty much bolton kit. Here is some thing unusual, a externally gated plumb back turbine housing for stock exhaust manifold. Its only a roughly model that I made up with scraps laying around. it might work better then the current actuators.
  12. Is power referring to in all wheel kws or rear only? Any way the difference in AWKW and RWKW is 13% (RWKW is obviously higher). The Stagea tows a much heavier chassis and with 4WD the engine takes much more load compare to a standard Skyline, which creates a similar effect as if the dyno ramp is much heavier. Means exhaust side is hotter and turbo spools up quicker. So a larger turbine end compare to the .63 is preferred, and our Billet SS2 in .82 would be some thing nice for this application. if you are serious about power and response then get a high mount manifold + EX gate, and run the SS2 Alpha version, which has ceramic roller bearings with VNT turbine. I haven't seen any thing that is more responsive in the same HP range.
  13. I've used their 650ccs in the past and worked out fine. With the 1200cc my only concern would be how good they are on idle. I've had a set of 850cc injectors years back and they were pretty rough. My current injectors are power enterprise 850ccs, and they are sweet, except I'm aware that power enterprise dose not make their own injectors, I believe they are probably some sard items.
  14. They are pretty good guys, every one make mistake some times, the importance is in the remedy. They did what the could, how ever the cost in time is irreparable. That left me with more time in developing the sequential variable geometry turbine housings. theory is half of the nozzles actives on at 10psi while the other half does on 16psi. This is again a very time consuming project and very costly in developments. Trial result is very promising. I'm currently using it with a ATR43G4BB (GT3582 replica built as a BA replacement) Turbocharger that previously made a very laggy 431rwkws. Under SVNT system it run like as if it is on a XR6 BA. Its crazily responsive and huge amount of torque, that wheel span the Micky Thompson in 4th. At this stage the effects of those cams are unknown, it feels very close to the SS3 Alpha, probably be on 20psi by 4200rpms while pulling off 450rwkws, if those cams does what Tomei promised to do.
  15. I fully regret sending them over to China. And he's in there for a bunch of KIAs lol.
  16. ^^^^ Because when my mechanic installed the cams and cam belt, he accidentally aligned the crank pully at the wrong spot, which worked out to be few teeth on both cam gears. So it did lots of weird stuff on the dyno today, maded 434rwkws @ 24psi with a strange looking curve. The mechanic was happy to go over the problem, it is now fixed. The car drive much better and the turbocharger is alot more aggressive and responsive. Will do one more dyno run at it after Trent gets back from China.
  17. This is a smaller turbocharger then the SS1PU. Cost to convert SS1PU to SS1.5 is $150.
  18. Currently only have results from it on a Rb25det with larger turbine housing. That made 298rwkws on 21psi with full boost by 3600RPMs. SR20det using a smaller .64 rear should behave very similarly. But no SR20det result on this turbocharger so far. This customer should have a result for me very soon.
  19. LoL no. I would pull it part and replace the exhaust wheel. Unfortunately Garrett no long sale rebuilding parts for their own turbos, so it needs to be fully overhauled. I would not buy that car the way it is. Some news for SR20det lovers This is the latest ATR28SS1.5 It is engineered to peek 260rwkws on pump 98 with supporting mods while has a stock T28's response.
  20. Standard CT12a high flows are same as usual using ATR28G1 chras. I can also run the SS1 CHRAs for better performance.
  21. Turbo is installed and I've taken it for a quick test drive, untuned. Well its not responsive as the other alpha series turbochargers, How ever is very responsive for its size. Even it is bigger, but much more driveable compare to the ATR45. I've taken a small footage of the turbocharger on idle then shutting down. While the ATR45 didn't spin much on idle.
  22. Further updates. Just completed the SS3 Alpha prototype-1. There is a dealt about compressor surging using a wheel in this size with fall over blade design, specially working with VNT turbine. So I've made two set of sleeves that goes into the current compressor housing. One is anti surge while the other one is normal. If Trent has time we will be trailing the affect of having an anti surge compressor housing.
  23. Well if you spend enough time on adjusting the valves and actuators there is no dealt that the sequential system can work perfectly. Most of the setups are made for stock turbos at factory boost level and it works fine on the setup its designed for.
  24. Result of our recent high flowed R34 OP6 turbocharger. This turbocharger is using our upgraded high flow profile. Tuned by Toshi on a Mainline roller dyno, made 270rwkws on 18psi of boost with factory actuator pump 98 fuel. By judging the shape of both boost and power curves this turbocharger is capable of running higher boost then what it has been set to. at 22psi is should be getting very close to 300rwkws mark.
  25. ^^^^ Its a very smart idea back in the days tho. It can work our really well just depending on how it has been set and twicked. If I ended up owning a supra or building a sequential setup for my guinea pig, I'll sure be able to make top HP with minimum lag.
