Haha, I did 3 hours on 2 days. That was it! Scarily quiet! How did ya manage to end up in rocky of all places? Competition with miners for rentals too i bet.
-
Yeah im going to try and wrangle friday anyway. Would be criminal not to, especially when its so close. What are start and finish times like out of interest?
-
Maybe I should do a FAQ on this some time. Its not too big a deal. Might take me a while and I didnt take many pics, but yeah definately doable. I used mine quite often.
-
Ill be up for one or the other of the may ones. Gotta check the roster at work and see if there are enough people around if I have a day off. Unfortunately us maryborough people have a different show holiday though
-
We have 100% storage up here, and still not allowed to wash cars .. nazi's. Im coming to brisbane soon, is it raining down that way as well, pissing down here.

Anything has to be better than scientist.

Not to get tooo off topic, but heres a good one of an old house mates gearbox when the smurfs blood tried to escape. Only problem was that it was a straight cut box that had been in for 2 weeks or so. http://www.clubpoint.net/bluebird/gb/Img_2844.jpg

We agreed on the 1st and 3rd one. 2nd one though was a bit of mystery as their wasnt much but immatures. The others said AML M0, but i wasnt so sure. They have been there 20 years longer, so they win.

My r33 was just less than 1k when I was 22. Now going on 24 is about 900 + rating one protection. Just cars that is. Shannons is 1200, but they have pay by the month, reasonable excesses and 1 windscreen/year. Dont know which one to go for. Only because the just car excess is nearly 2k.
-
Yeah we dont comment on much really. Its a bit strange actually. I like haematology so it sucks to release so much without comment or making a film. Its all ok, there will be computer programs to add comments for us soon, their goes job prospects, so pay will get below the poverty line

I had one on a weekend on a hospital patient. Just the usual type infection and the only change from previous was a bit of a left shift, so i went to write: "Left shift noted". Unfortunately it came out as "Left SHIT noted". I didnt notice until i authorised and took the hard copy of the result to the hospital. By that time it had gone to the doctor and all.

Shes only in bundy, but comes to do histo training once a week for the last couple months. They seem to be busy enough in their own corner, they seem to do a lot more call up their than we get.
-
Haha its just 5 weekends because I filled in a sicky, then doing a few half weekends and then have to get the rest of mine in because im going on holiday. Not to mention it comes in handy because we are going to the grand prix, so thats going to empty the pockets big style.
-
Haha. Now your definately going in. As soon as you say that, the phone ALWAYS rings. Does for me anyway. Working 5 consecutive weekends is getting a bit shitty though!

The Unthinkable- Need A Tow Hook On My R33

I put an s14 towbar on mine a couple weeks ago, send me a PM if you like. -
Must have been the same in my year then too, they had it. We had that few people statistically their werent going to be any hotties! But really, do you want to do a course for 4 years just because you might meet some women, thats pretty sus! As for private pathology (or pathology), avoid avoid avoid, underpaid, often silly hours, the constant desire for management to reduce the role of the scientist. Where else do we go though Dont know if their is much else im qualified to do. EDIT - As for blood taking, thats only my afterhours/weekend gig. As for how far to push the needle, its just an acquired feel. You can kinda feel the resistance to push change once your in a vein, but you never know. Some times is virtually pot luck (especially with extremely overweight huge people!).

Ill put myself down as 'interested' if anything eventuates. OFten hear people into it when I am at the kart track next door.
-
Same as me, Plays with all sorts of lovely human stuff...
-
So I towed with it today. Great car for the light load. Didnt really notice it was there (even thought it had fallen off on the odd occasion when the climate control turns off). The towbar tongue really sits it up high. Not a drama what so ever with ride height of the car. Glad I did it!
-
I think they would be a great car in stock form. I think personally I would leave it that way, enjoy what the factory delivered and not have to worry about drivability and reliability. I really want to drive one, only because I imagine they would be a more refined version of my previous car, a modded telstar tx5 turbo, which just so happened to have a load of torque through the front wheels, an LSD which didnt help the torque steer much and very similar peformance times to the mazda. Seems both have it all low down too, and not much up top.
-
Mine has the same with NISMO in it. Came with it from japan so I dont know where one would track one down. It wasnt painted though when I got it, just matt black plastic. I think it looks a load better than the standard 3 bar one anyway,
-
Yeah im going to see how it goes. Its very low at the moment, but fortunately wont have too much squat, but its not going to be good on the insides of the tyres. Its a light load for now, so ill just have to see. As for the neatness, unfortunately dont look too close. The bloke I PAID to cut the plastic out of the bumper did a crap job, its not even symmetrical. Not happy with that either!

Officer - "we Heard The Screech And Saw Your Car"
Turbo Tim replied to R33_Rob's topic in Queensland
That is a load of rubbish. Its only because of the type of car it is, its a 2 door turbo charged RWD. Doesnt matter where its from, they are still going to pull you up regardless. I bet SS commodore drivers do or have copped in the past. I bet throughout the decades, the 'hoon' car of choice has been 'picked on' and pulled up more than any. E.g. monaros and gt's in the 70's, commodores and the early turbo things in the 80's and so on. Doesnt matter where its from! -
Im not going to be towing any more than 300-400kg max. I honestly wouldnt want to do much more than that. Its rated 900kg braked capacity. Angle grinder was to cut off a bit of excess metal on the corners of the bar which stopped the bumper sitting flush. That little black plate in the attachment is all you will see without the tongue on, which im quite happy with. Some of the workmanship by the block that did the panel beating work could have been a lot better. He was a panel beater, i think I could have done a better job. Lights plug is in the boot with a ribbon cable you hang out to hook it up.
