  1. turboedsloth can you please pm me your number incase I workout some way to get down there cause i'd prefer the braided line. Otherwise ill just have to ring around see what I can find. Thanks guys.
  2. Hm, not sure if ill be able to get down there. Do you come more north by any chance?
  3. Hey guys, I urgently need to replace the stock rubber one as it has a pin hole leak. Where would I be able to get one in Perth, say, tomorrow. Either braided or standard replacement for an RB25DET box. Closer to SOR much preferred. Also if anyone has a part number for the turbo coolant return hose coming off the rear of plenum that is an L shape or an alternative that will fit. Cheers if you can help.
  4. Sounds like plugs or coils. When there is a lot of fuel/air going in it blows out the spark. Either gap is too large on the plugs or coils aren't making strong enough spark or spark is going somewhere else instead of to the plugs. If the gap is too large I.e. works ok with smaller gap plugs, then its likely the coils are getting old. Smaller gap is just a temp fix for the inevitable.
  5. ^This. Has spoiler been removed recently?
  6. I had a better look at the coolant return and turns out its just a L piece around 8mm internal so should be easy to find a generic. Such a shitty spot for it to be in though haha.
  7. I'm trying to find a pic or part number for the hose that comes off the plenum at the back and joins to the coolant return for the turbo. The threads for simpletool's diagrams don't seem to be in the system anymore and I've spent the better part of around an hour searching with only a few pics of other ways around the problem. I think one way is just using a longer braided hose straight to the plenum, but I don't have the time or money right now. Maybe in the near future. I just have a leak in that hose and want to fix it asap for now.
  8. How do you enter these events? Is it just a rock up with correct equipment, pay and compete or do you need to register, etc?
  9. Better to over fill over the line as rb's are well known to keep oil in the head with some spirited driving. On the H is a good point.
  10. Ok after driving for around 20 minutes last night I tried the button and it works again -_- and worked multiple times. Didn't work when I first got in the car though so I left it until around 20 minutes later. May just be a dry solder where the switch is soldered to the board. Will test again when I have to go somewhere.
  11. 4300K is light yellowish, 5000k close to white (will look slightly off if you have white LED parkers), 6000k is white, will match white LED parkers the best and probably the highest you'd want to go for looks vs. visability. Anything higher tends to blue/purple and will be worser off for visibility. I have 6000k in my HR31 and now R32 and are absolutely awesome . Just make sure they are not aimed too high and blind other road users. Also if you are going to use them in non-projector type headlights you should probably get a Hi/Lo type kit as you will blind people no matter where you aim them Edit: Added a pic of my conversion half done.
  12. Did a search and couldn't find anything... I can't seem to get the front defog mode to work on the climate control. Everything else seems to work fine, just when I push that button nothing happens. I know it used to work a week or so ago and I doubt it could be a fuse as it's just the one button not the whole unit. I did run a diagnostic and the light for the button works and also the motor/flap works when I do the vent test as I can feel air go to the top vents, but just doesn't work when I push that button. Anyone know what's going on or if I'm going to have to pull the unit out and fiddle?
  13. The wheels thing is that it must not exceed the maximum rolling diametre size allowed on that model of vehicle. So whatever it says on the placard or a placard of a higher ranged model, as long as the new rims plus tyres is not more than 2 inches larger. So you could run 18's on a 32, but your tyre profile would have to be quite small. Also can't run staggered width or offset unless original setup is like that. I doubt there are many people that follow the last point that don't run stock rims.
  14. Doesn't matter how small the roundabout is. Could be the size of a pea ffs. You're still supposed to do it. Maybe in your view it may be impractical or unnecessary, but in the handbook it actually says all roundabouts. A lot of people actually go really slow through roundabouts, unlike a lot of us efficient people, so for our sake I would rather them indicate out. Saw a nice white spoilerless 34 exiting Armadale on Monday night near Gull, going through the roundabout...
  15. Now I'm thinking that combo will make the wheel sit really far out if I'm not mistaken. Boss kit + quick release + deep dish steering wheel = it's in my face! Well I'm just assuming as it all adds up haha.
  16. Yeah there are a few. My mate got his Daewoo picked up full interior, glass and motor plus $50 his way. Car was still rolling as well, but they just put a chain through the windows around the roof and lifted it onto the truck. He doesn't know much about cars so probably just used the yellow pages.
  17. Is the nardi sold? After the nardi and quick release. Maybe even the tripod too if I cbf lol.
  18. Where can you get BCPR7ES? I can only seem to find 6's and no one has the 7's in their system.
  19. SF-DIS001 is the model number. Not sure where on them exactly, but they should be there somewhere. Easiest way to work out is did your 26 have an igniter pack to run the coils? If so, then pm me an amount for postage. Thanks.
  20. Is the model for the splitfires 001? Thanks.
  21. So what happened? Did they just inspect it or did you get receipts?
  22. Picked my new beasty up on Monday evening
  23. The listing is gone...
  24. Could probably look up on youtube to find what some of the systems sound like. Probably easiest way to find out.
