Umm what? Have you ever felt the pre side and post side pipe of an intercooler after a drive? Fair difference. The pipe behind the radiator gets incredibly hot thereby reheating the air before it reaches the engine. Insulating that pipe reduces the amount that the heated radiator exhaust air can heat up that pipe. The cool air still coming from the intercooler then cools the pipe back down anyway which should be a minimal increase, unless the insulation is not thick enough and lets too much heat through.

Yes! There's that really bad drop in the road right before the shops. Then on the way back through the round about is probably worse... I would say this is even bad in a factory suspension car. Especially since it's an 80km/h limt and it just bounces the car up and down all the way haha. There's a hole or something on the left turn off Albany Hwy into Vic Park where Macca's is. I never see it and just gives the car a really sharp jolt. Sounds like parts are falling off...

How do you get an extension on a sticker? Mine is expiring on the 18th and I don't want to hand the plates back in if I can help it as they are private. Car still needs a fair bit of work as I don't have funds at the moment. Also what happens when you get mod approval? Do you just fill in the mod form and send it in then take your car down for them to examine with the mods? At what point do you need engineers approval?

Hankook Ventus V12 EVO in 215/45R17 (fronts only) Cost: $206ea Dry Handling: Holds on really well through the corners, not much noise at all. Can't really compare to many other tyres as these were pretty much the first set on my 17"s. Wet Handling: Also very good. Not much understeer through corners and actually grip really well, suprisingly. I can't really give a proper rating since I haven't had much to compare to in performance tyres, but I would definately get another set of these.

I have an AutoWatch one with built in turbo timer and the timer length is long enough I think (a few minutes at least). If you want to turn your car off earlier you just press a button on the remote twice to stop it so it's not really a problem.

I'll give Repco a try. I've tried AutoOne and the Coventry's in Kelmscott, but both only had the book to go off. Bought the test one from AutoOne. Which Coventry's has studs on display?

Hey guys. I've snapped two studs on one of my spacers and I've been trying to find something that will fit, but so far been unsuccessful. The places I've looked only have the 'Nice Products' range of studs and the closest is just a bit too big. First one on this page http://www.niceproducts.com.au/catalogues/wheel/wheel18.htm is the closest, but the knurl diameter is slightly too big at 12.9mm (the part with the straight lines). Needs to be about 12.2-12.3mm. I bought one to try but the hole is too small for even the first part of the shoulder to go through. Does anyone here know of a different brand that may fit or even someone who has replaced them before? If I can't find anything I guess my best bet would be to slightly enlarge the hole so it does fit. I can't see any real problems with doing this as it's only a small amount of material being removed.

I've replaced the two hoses under the plenum before. Such a bitch to do, but it only cost me some hose, hose clamps and a lot of swearing. I'd hate to find out how much a workshop charges to replace them though.
