Cheers for the feedback guys, seems to me a majority of you guys change it at 5000km due to "better safe then sorry" saying. I guess Ill probably change it at 10000km and then 5000 and see how it goes since theres no hardcore evidance that you need to change it every 5000.

Yeah I was waiting for another honda bashing session as well haha. Go test drive a GT4 and a type r and have a feel for it yourself mate. Try a 5gen vtir lude as well they handle and go pretty good for an NA car, plus you can pick up a good example for a decent price now days.

Well my car is completely stock, Synthetic MOBIL 1 oil and I dont really drive it hard, so yeah if its not really necessary then Ill wait till it hits 10000km. Dont really know the maintance of a turbo car hance this is my first one, for the lude I just change it every 10000.

My GTT have nearly done 5000km since Ive first import it, dont know if I should change it soon or wait till Ive done 10000. Just wondering if the majority of you guys change your oil every 5000km?

$400 ? Damn that is cheap I got quoted 600 to 800 for a good job, its a pain in the arse to weld all those holes and respray the rear quaters. When I imported mine the only faded bits was the mirrors and tailight covers as well, been needing to respray them. One panel beater told me that reason why the plastic parts seem alittle faded is because they dont get sprayed as the same time as the car, hance the colour difference.

Are you after another original key with the inbuilt remote for the factory immob? Firstly don't bother cause they cost too much because you would need to get one from Japan. Do you have an alarm installed on the car (if not it wouldnt be such a bad idea haha)? If so then you can just make a spare key (cost like $7) at any good key cutting shops, DONT go to the ones in the middle of the mall. Congrad on your buy, any pics ?
