  1. the R34 intercooler is plenty big enough for the stock turbo. It's thicker than the R33 cooler. If any of you R34 guys want to palm off your old stock intercooler let me know and I'll ping you $150 for it. Get a light flywheel (and clutch while your at it). Do the exhaust, all the way. Thermal wrap the dump & front pipe. Diff cradle kit Panel filter. Boost controller. For starters.

  8. I spent the day fitting a new starter motor ( the 11.5 to 1 compression kills them) and I rebuilt the carb, re-jetted and a little modification. Still need to fix the secondaries on fuel. So far the new shift kitted and beefed up auto is alot of fun, shame that I didn't convince the wife to go the high stall
  9. Some of us can tune our own cars... the rest need mechanics. You can listen to both. I learnt how to do most things on my cars from non mechanics (back yard racers). Some mechanics don't specialise in performance so are useless for that sort of info.

  12. Stick with the panel filter. They are good enough for the 600HP Mine's factory GTR's. I run one and it is no restriction to good times or power at all. Don't mess about with the airfilter stuff too much the gains are tiny.
  13. yeah 12.6 without the gas would be nice, just need $800 worth of BFG Drag radial TA's or Nitto's for that.

  16. I take care of over $14k a year on my car, most of which is a tax deduction. The car allowance I am paid has no tax taken out up front so it's all good.
  17. The rev210 workshop shows you how to drop your 1/4 mile by 0.4 seconds with the addition of a light flywheel.

  19. 3mins of oxygen starvation to the brain kills you, so whether it's nitrous or not you suffocate without oxygen present for a long enough period.
  20. GT2 not realistic on the light flywheel? sure it is! I mean I was getting 13.4's with it. Down from 13.8. Basically the first few gears are completely different to a stock unit. Roughly reducing the flywheel weight by 1 kg equates to an acceleration gain of dropping 50kg from the cars total body weight. With over 4kgs lost from the stocker it's like stripping 200kg out of the car for first gear.
  21. The ports don't line up so you would need an block metal adaptor made to match ports and bolt holes.
  22. The clutch requires the removal of the gearbox. And the flywheel requires removal of the clutch. So it just saves you doubling up on labour. Also make sure you have the timing set nicely. That one is a free power gain. Block the carbon canister to plenum hoses as well.
  23. I got mine filled at Chriss mills. If you get BOC to do it then thats medical nitrous, works the same just no smell.
  24. I advise filling the boot with concrete. And putting yogurt in the helmet.
