  5. put a larger throttle body on an experience a loss of torque. Good idea if the turbo you have is 500+ worth otherwise give it a miss.

  7. nah the stock clutch was just 'glazed' there was still plenty of material on it just cooked. The stock unit gripped fine it was the burnouts that killed it a few runs after the 13.8
  8. should have a 'guess dave's power' pot. Put in $2 and win the pot if you guess the closest to the actual power output.

I take 500gms of habenaro chilli. blend it to a pulp (outside because the fumes are exactly what tear gas is made from) add a little yeast and sugar and leave it in a bottle for a few months. add a small amount of white vinager when done and make to volume with your favorite spirit. This time the mexican cactus juice.

  11. The fire water I have made recently is from habenaro chilli's and will hospitalise someone who is not heat tollerant. I kid you not. Even I have an out of body experience on a shot of it.
  12. Strich9ine, I enjoy a wide range of drinks and a range of wide drinks. The cactus juice is a favorite as well. I make a fremented chilli drink that is brought up to 37% alchohol by the cactus juice and I call it "Fire water". Like napalm down the throat and explodes I the stomach like a rack of funelled B52's. It also makes you drunk very quick.

  14. Putting 'cola' in your the sphincter of the universe or rather the sphincter of the universe in your cola is a despoiling of a good 8 years + of maturation in oak to get the subtle flavours that you can't taste through sugary cola.
  15. You know whiskey ought to be consumed 'straight' to completely enjoy. Sadly many people are never told how to drink it and enjoy it straight. For those who have never had the special whisky info here it is: take a sip. Salivate (sounds gross but, it means sort of chew the whiskey around in your mouth a little and allow the amalyase emzymes in your saliva to breakdown the sugars). Swallow. Thats easy isn't it! Try it next time you have access to a few kinds of whiskey and you'll discover why some are better than others.

  19. What has it done for me then? Well with my busy shedule including company funded drinking..er..training sessions. I went to the gym yesterday and hack squated 440kgs on the bar for 15reps and 340kgs on the donkey calf machine for 10reps. Frequency of gym visitation? once a month if I can be arsed. Duration of actual workout? I am at the gym for 40min but, I am only actually doing weights for 5min, the rest of the time I sit down and wait for the heart rate to drop to rest level. Don't stretch and don't warm up. Oh and drink beer.
  20. paul, what you need is my soon-to-be-patented 'Principle O Rest' Program' You can eat all the #*%$ food you like, drink beer (in fact I reccomend it) and do very little excercise (how does once a month or once every two months sound) and get stronger every time! Listen to these satisfied customers quotes: " It's not just a workout it's a lifestyle.." And " It's a total body workout that works the sum total of all of your body.."
  21. yep Paul convinced me. I think I'll make a few hp, it needs a couple to push the whale over the 1/4 in 13.3seconds. I'd better clean my engine pipes out before I go. They have almost 100,000kms of engine blow by crap in them. even the bleeder valve has sludge coming out of it. How embarassment!
  22. I've finally decided to book a dyno session. SST next wed morning. If all goes well I'll be going to the drags that night to get my fricken 12second pass.
  23. I bought the flywheel from taka's. The clutch I got from Ross at autoclutch. $330 for just the clutch plate ( I used the stock pressure plate ). Mat, the flywheel got me the time as the stock clutch died 'after' the 13.8 (which the clutch was ok on).
  24. Well for those interested I am booked to go see steve at SST next wednesday morning to sort the S-afc out. If you want to see what sort of power I have used to get a 13.3 I guess you can rock up to SST radium street welshpool and see. More importantly you can witness how crap the tune I have done is compared to a dyno one Anyone want to go have a laugh? BTW if all goes well I will be visiting the drags that night as well to kick it into some 12 second passes.
