  1. retarded movies. They should have drifting special busses in them.
  2. piss off spammer!
  3. all fnf threads should go straight to wasteland.
  4. Drag racing someone every 1-2 weeks? Unless you are doing that at Kwinanna , we really don't want to know.
  5. In a recent study it was shown that 99% of people who liked this movie were in fact a try hard. The other 1% were girls.
  6. Or $10 worth of high temp silastic. Does the job too.
  7. REAL ULTIMATE POWER movie series FNF is Serious business! www.realultimatepower.net
  8. They are as good as any car. The owners both present and past determine reliabillity. What you do to the car , how you drive it I would normally get 10L or better per 100km out of the old R33 gtst and similar with the R32 Gtst and R32 GTR's. The tune and type of mods you do effect things, like any car. Things like not going for super heavy sprung pressure plates in the case of clutches in R32's will prevent braking pedals etc.. There is plenty of good info on the forum about it all If you are thinking you want to race and modify any car, then just throw your dreams of reliabillity into a nearby bin.
  9. My $5 5 min intake pipe mod is what you want mate
  10. These movies are for those with REAL ULTIMATE POWER www.realultimatepower.net
  11. Get a final tune done with the bonnet down Hot air = lower power Thats why you have an intercooler cold air partitions are a must for pods. Go backwards in power otherwise. The hotter the day + the more heat soak the worse it is.
  12. No worries mate. Happy to help
  13. That's the problem. They make door stops and book ends. Autobarn888 = super power monkey technique to the head.
  14. Autobarn888 brand?
  15. I think the maps show that around that range the -5's and -9's are about the same? But, as it gets higher in airflow the -5's excel
  16. You should see how much cement he put in the boot. It has shiny speedflo fittings as re'o
  17. R33GTRkid, Flat 12 here with R32GTR and about 300rwhp. road tyres. Dyno sheets are obviously a relative power figure for sitting on the rollers somewhere at a particular time. Power generation can change for a variety of reasons once arriving at a race track. The key to the tune is ensuring consistancy, road tunes are worth the time but, so is ensuring you are dyno tuning with the bonnet down and have basics like cold air induction in place. Nothing wrong with x-speeds dyno , the numbers are probably right (bonnet up or down figure?). The car was just having some problems on the day. GT-SS setup right are a high 10 turbo / low 11 no dramas. You were missing a few ponies at the track, perhaps due to heat soak issues in the staging area as you mentioned. No cold air/exposed pods is a big part of that. Hope that helps
  18. It's a soft plume style nozzle which is good as it lessens the issue a little but, if you can find an upstream position for it that would be miles better for tuning and power. It will be totally worth your time and effort. You will find the distribution uneven with the way it is presently. It's only a little bit of a pain to relocate. Just plug the exsisting hole with a small brass bung. Definately place it before the throttle in this case, somewhere, anywhere even if it's closer to the intercooler outlet. The mixture will then follow the path over and around the throttle butterfly in the same manner as the rest of the air plus you get better and more even mixture with the turbulence over butterfly. Hopefully that makes sense Happy to chat about anything to do with the nitrous setup if you like just flick me a PM.
  19. Good fun isn't it Mph indicates you were down on power. Being a hot day possibly heat soak, you have cold air induction or just pods?
  20. As I said earlier Seriously don't worry about telling people dyno numbers, there are many who's whole car experience and life goals revolve around these silly pieces of paper. Instead the idea is to get the car to run great times, which you are certainly on the way to doing and no doubt having fun with. Having quicker or more consistant times as you goal will see you become a more competitive racer. Alot of the drag racing people I grew up around had no idea exactly how much power thier cars were making, at the time the dyno's that exsisted would not have been able to cope. And it's still true today of the most competitve. Awesome effort! By the way Aussies do have a big side to thier humour thats about cutting each other down, we aren't serious when we do it.
  21. if your target is a fast time, thats all that you need to worry about. Being able to tell people how much power you have isn't worth the effort. 607rwLp is alot.
  22. Ah no worries. that clears things up then
  23. That wall is the Bizzaro world cool wall. In that same episode the volvo wagon went straight to ultra cool area. Anything that is placed 'near' the volvo wagon is uncool. So the object is to get away from it. I should know I owned a 70's volvo wagon and mine had a worked V8 in it. Even that was an offence to look at.
  24. You start out saying you are a wreckless driver then complain about being labeled? Sorry mate but, if you get pinged with a 'hoon label' it's your own fault. Just like getting any fine that is in relation to breaking the law. Cops driving around are in fact patrolling and are on the lookout for suspisious people. It's just that people speeding deserve to get fined and the worst part is these motorists are wasting the police time. If you aren't careful enough to drive at the speed limit then you are one of those people who are needlessly wasting police resources. What other people do or don't do doesn't make you a good driver. I'd personally like to see all of those idiots you see get busted too.
  25. the timing map needs to be tweaked with timing taken out. You are using a 'wet' system? You can get yourself another 100rwkw with the fogger if you have the supporting systems and motor build can take it. Going from 350rwkw to 450rwkw might be fun You can jewlers drill /file out the jets. All jets should be flow tested anyway to do it right. The NOS brand basic brass flare jets aren't always bang on in size and even NOS themselves at least reccomend flow testing them (very easy backyard test to do).
