  1. did he clamp the supply or the return line?
  2. the farecla range is by far the best
  3. Try erasing the code first and see if it comes back
  4. nope its from the belt....its a diffrent material
  5. perhaps he should stipulate that he is talking about the Blue gates belt
  6. so he has to sit with his face square infront of the airbag when he switches the ignition on??????
  7. i cant see the problem.....even if the airbag ecu is faulty the bag wont be deployed.....if the bag is designed for that particular car then as long as all the plugs have a home and you dont go bashing the sensor with a hammer its ok....and if its bolted on "if" it does deploy well big deal....i mean they go off when you have a prag and your face is right next to the steering wheel
  8. yeah...its kind of like mastabating with a cheese grater
  9. oh.....and make sure the clock spring is half way in its scope....example....turn its clockwise and dont force it when it wants to stop (as doing this will break the ribbon tape inside)Then turn it anti clockwise counting how many turns it goes around before it wants to stop, then turn it clockwise to the halfway point.
  10. your pics are taking too long to upload as i am on dial up....but the yellow box was on with your old wheel right? If thats the case i would say arsehole the yellow box, connect the two pin wire from the airbag to that one and the clockspring (should be a 4 wire connector)to the other one and you will be in business.....i wouldnt be to worried about it going off .....it needs to detect a shock from the airbag ECU before it goes off....but i usually stand back before switching it on anyway
  11. the wires should connect to the clock spring which is located on top of the indicator switch assy ....if your airbag light comes on when you switch the ignition on the goes off then i am tipping that you have one of those resistor thingys on the clock spring loom to trick the airbag ecu into thinking it has all its componants fitted....
  12. yep synchro's and the gears will be rooted
  13. higher priced jobs usually contain better materials and time preparing the job.....cheaper jobs mean break out the dynabraid air sander and wiz it down tape it up and paint it.....then wait for the shrink backs in a month or so,and fades ect needing to be redone much sooner......the dearer jobs mean wet sand windows out paint it once....rub it down wet and flow coat it....then the job last's for many years....take your pic,its horse's for course's as they say
  14. depends if its badly stonechipped/hairline cracks,colour ect.....prob 350 i would guess
  15. hey patrick....i think regurgitator wrote a song about you getting this job....anyone remember the name?
  16. i think he is talking about the 1/4 glass guys
  17. a lot of people complain that wolf ecu's are complicated to tune....AEM (the manufacturer of wolf products) is my friends company and knowing his character very well i can see why its functions are confusing He is a top guy and very smart and i know how hard he has been working on this new model and i am sure it will be a good product
  18. it also comes in the shape of 1200 or 2000 wet rubbing paper and cutting compound called "farecla"
  19. i dont think it is.....but i have painted sqwillions of calipers/parts in it and its never come off....its other good properties is it wont come off with solvent/mag wheel cleaner once its dried....i have yet to see a spray can or single pack product that doesnt come off with solvents.....even after years
  20. for the best adhesion clean them in prepsol then use dupont 222S adhesion promoter....no rubbing needed
  21. you need the stencils to do the calipers..... i have it if anyone needs....also 2 pack clear is more than strong enough for the application....i dont know why you guys think that single pack paint would be more durable than 2 pack
  22. HAHAHA I also thought maybe you busted a Thai lady breaking in and sorted it out with a "happy ending"
  23. pm coming

    Play Time!

i had one of these bad boys in blue with yellow wheels and a white crappy plastic seat when i was about 3 years old (i am sure you guys know them....there a classic model)My big brothers had full size bikes and the old man used to take us to the traffic school in brunswick...i came into the makeshift servo they had there and ran into the "golden fleece" petrol bowser and bent the handlebars and the old man gave them a bit of a tune up with a wheel brace to get me back on the road again
