  1. i get nikasil done all the time on bike cylinders.....its quite expensive and as someone else said for alluminium only.....kawasaki started it and now most if not all manufactures use it..the early kawasaki's had drama's with it coming adrift from the cylinders in two strokes....sr20's have it

  4. i got a guy that comes out to me....he wouldnt go out your way but he does after hours stuff....you could bring it over and he would do it here for you if you get stuck

  11. fkn bullshit.....i just done a GTR that had the bearing fail.....it bent all the inlet valves.....i repeatedly told the owner to change the belt and bearings then after about two weeks he rang me up saying it was on a truck being delivered....as far as i am concerned your getting a half arsed job....

  19. that looks like the 18RGU yamaha head engine....i used to have one of those in an RA28,I rebuilt the engine using 18RG non pollution pistons as they has 10.2 comp ratio instead of the "U" engine has 9.2 or there abouts....i stuffed a huge set of cams in it and it was lumpy as all fark....then i done this in the end....i swapped the engine into a ke 30 corolla and then sold the set up to a chap with a ta22 and this is what it looked like
  20. well make sure they change the bearings and the stud aswell....while your at it do the cam seals and the crank seal......oh and might as well do the water pump and the fan belts aswell.......then of course the price goes up....thats why the price varies a lot doing this sort of job....some of us prefer to do the whole lot as opposed to doing half of it.....i mean theres nothing like doing it then having something you already had off fail because you shouldve replaced it
