  1. its a hot jet of air with a filler rod....but the trick is to be able to define the type of material you have....some have markings on the back but some dont....if you can cut thin strips out of an old bar thats the samethats the best way
  2. i do plastic welding....its usually as good as new after its done....my bumper is actually two bumpers joined down the centre.....i have broken it since....not on the weld but on the left hand side where i rammed into a curb....so the weld with stood enough force to break in a diffrent place

  7. what breaks is the ring lands on the pistons or the big end floggs out from the engine trying to fire backwards
  8. aac is the auxillary air control valve.....some vehicles(mitsubishi's especially)when they have aac valve problems they roll at idle....on evo's when they are stuck open the revs go to increase and the ecu pulls the power from the injectors,revs drop below the excessive idle speed which is programed into the ecu and it opens up the power to the ecu again revs go up again and rolls(it knows your not on the throttle coz the tps is closed)
  9. sometimes you have to teach the ecu the engine speed.....how we do this when a vehicle has a delco efi system is erase all codes the start the engine and hold the revs at 2000rpm for about 2 minutes

  13. use a bit of welding rod and unscrew the little nub out of the dial gauge and fit it inside there....then put the other end of the welding rod on the bucket

  16. i reckon it would be the same ....ocean from this forum had the problem with the thread size and fitted a difrent sensor....you would have to ask him which one it was

  20. hi there marcus....the main problem you will have is you will need to undo the nut in the center of the drive shaft and this i think from memory is a 35mm socket of which you will need to use a rattle gun to undo...you will also have to undo the lower balljoint to pivot the hub assy away far enough to get the shaft out,then you will need to disassemble the driveshaft and wash all the old grease out,fit the new boots repack and reassemble them....its a very dirty job
