thats a front seal thats on the plastic scuttle panel...that panel comes off quite easy....take it off and drop a couple of drops on loctite stupid glue on it...if you need to stretch it out while glueing it

i disagree...i dont beleive that they are responsible in any way....not trying to piss you off but they fullfilled there part of the contract by transporting your car....now ANYBODY couldve been responsible for the damage......what if it had no oil when dropped off to KCC and becuase there staff drove it on the ship...are they responsible?NO its not there job to check the oil.......I think they provide a good service and i have used them many times in the past RORO and many 40ft containers of motorcycles and guess what.....I NEVER get insurance and never had a problem,according to some of the people that DID want bikes from me my containers were gunna fall off the ship with there $3000 motorbike in there:D so they never ordered,but it was nice to see there face when everyone was getting there bikes when the boxes turned up....id say cop it on the chin and start saving dude....and another choice that everyone has got if they dont like strangers driving there cars is to use containers....but No one wants to pay for that!

WTF????Do yourself a favour and dont drill any holes!!!!!!!!!I bet the waterwill be coming in from the taillights.....get a garden hose and open the bootlid take the inner taillight boot trim off then run the water at the front near rear windscreen....you will see the water run down into the tail light bezzels and look into the boot and you will see it coming into the boot

Coz it could have the flat battery code stored in the ecu....GTR's are famous for losing there 4WD intermittetly coz of this code....and chinny coil packs are on all engines that dont have a distributor cap

aluminium header tanks on the radiator are standard on earlier type Vspec's...he has a Vspec vehicle built prior to 10/2000 or the radiator has been changed

a big killer of any engine is dirty bores...if you get your block bored and are assembling yourself make sure its clean!!!!!Obviously make sure the gallerys are clean but for those that dont know give the bores a good scrub with hot soapy water then blow it all off dry and use a stark white rag with transmission oil on it and run it up and down the bore's and make sure the rag doesnt stain

These engines are an overgrown motorcycle engine so working on them to motorcycle guys is sort of a second nature....most average mechanics i have found just dont use there brains these days.....is far as boring goes it depends on the pistons used for clearances ie forged,cast,silicon content ect diffrent ones expanded more depending on there structure.Crank grinding well i would rather buy a new crank for 1k than mess with grinding a used one...but thats just me
