I'm Currently at the finally at the stage of puttin my motor together and was just wantin some help for the guru's out there... i'm buildin a serious rb25 in my s13, below is everything i have just wonderin if i haven't bought something that i need
Head
Tomei soild lifters, type B valves, Pro 10.25mm cams, cam gears, valve stems, arp head studs, twin spray power enteprise 800cc inj & timming belt, trust rail, sard type rj reg, custom plenum 80mm throttle
Fuel
2x 044 bosch pumps runnin 1/2 lines with 5L surge tank
Block
tomei h beam rods, main studs, oil pump & Bearings, cp pistons, ross Harmonic Balancer, new crank collar, n1 water pump
HKS T51R SPL BB, 60mm gt2 Gate and custom manifold & Exhaust
upgraded power steering pump, oil cooler, fmic, haltech ecu, tensioner bearing
Drive
orc twin plate clutch and os giken strenghtened box, gtr front brakes and gtr diff all braided lines, coilovers and adjustable arms and rods
So far i know the basics on how to build the motor... like once the block gets back from gettin balanced and stuff back i'll know the compression and what head gasket to get. obvioulsy check all the clearances and stuff when i'm puttin the bottom end back together. The head i will get the engineering place to put back together for me so they can set the shims for the lifters.
Does anyone know if there are any aftermarket valves you can get or will the standard ones handle the power and if the standard exhaust valve retainers can be used again(or rebuy standard ones) because tomei only give the intake side retainers with the new springs.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...
