The Wolf is getting me 500 to a tank - stock 20, 25 turbo, turbo back exhaust. Got 600 cruising to Busselton and back. If you put your foot into it tho it drinks a bit but regular driving if I come in much under 500 I would be scratching my head.

I second Damage Control, top work, top shop and the best customer service. Never heard a bad work about that place.

Yer good panel and paint work isn't cheap. I would prefer to save some extra $$$'s to know my car was done properly and no problems raising there ugly head a couple of years later when the bog and rust appear.

I never said you bagged on here TJ, but I know you lot do outside of here. As for quick cars, I don't get involved in the shop really, horses are my life priority but ones I know of now, Wholagans GTR that races, John's EVO, Jeff's (no not my brother) GTR, Mum's on stock turbos and all with just Wolf, exhaust and fmic did a comfortable 12.05, the GTS-R, the 1600, a Cefiro, Gregs black S14, another S13 drifter, an Supra, I am sure Dad can list of 100 more and unfortunately I don't know most of their names but can point there cars out. The direct engine the person wants to know about is the RB20DET silvertop. I have 1 of these, mine makes awesome power on very little $$$'s (far less than this one) has had spent on the engine just running a Wolf. These cars besides 3 are all very quick street cars with little work done on internals or turbo's or anything. This list is a 2 second list from someone who doesn't spend very much time at the workshop at all.

So far I have had a Commo stolen, a stereo stolen out of a Corolla and the most recent of them was an egging (thankfully the weak losers had such a soft throw only 1 actually hit) and the most sad bit is, I know who did that, and they are import people. No-one should touch other peoples cars, I would never stoop as low as to attack someones car no matter what they did to annoy me. As past experiences will prove, I say it to peoples faces and leave property out of it. Its the weak persons way out.

Finding new rentals SUCKS! I totally agree. Thankfully we have a nice house now tho but our real estate told us we should feel like we won the lottery.

EDIT: Will remove that and just say, shows how much you know. As Dad has said above, running 1 or 2 reasonable passes at the Plex and then rebuilding doesn't say anything. Tops has had several Wolf AND Pfc cars come in as they haven't got what they wanted and had the car fixed in front of them in around 15 minutes. 1 thing you really need to do as I suggested before is look into them yourself. Don't ask people what they want to bag as there is A LOT of politics in this. Speak to some tuners of them, ask what they think are good features and go with what you like and you believe to be value for money.

I have heard not to take imports to Caro cuz it has been quite common for them to be keyed. Mine has always been ok but then I haven't taken it there often either because of it. Good luck finding them, will keep me eyes peeled.

S14 is one of a few very quick cars being written off before hitting the track lately. People building them too fast for themselves and not knowing how to drive them. As for will do's, heard em before to see 12's.

Because they had no option when they tried to get Wolf and got told no and they can't tune them so the bandwagon had to follow. A lot of these cars haven't pulled those times since. A lot of quick cars running Wolf lately have been crashed at Plex... too fast maybe

Bobbo, get off your bandwagon. Thats all part of the old bs which I am not getting into but the tunes are not lean at all. Sad that some babies still feel it necessary to do burnouts in front of workshops. 1 word, childish. My car has been running the Wolf for quite some time, it most certainly isn't lean and neither are any of the other 1000's I have seen.

Always depends who you talk to as to what you hear. Think about your budget and what you want from the ECU, then make an informed decision. A lot of different ideas from different places and they aren't always based on fact.

Best value for money is the Wolf hands down. My silvertop 20 is kicking out 274.8rwhp with 3 inch turbo back, RB25 turbo, Blitz BOV, fmic and Wolf 3D (stock injectors etc, nothing else in the engine touched... yet). Also gets rid of the common AFM problems you have with 20's. PFC is good but a lot more basic, especially in comparison to the V5 Wolf but similar in pricing. From what I can gather, the Wolf will also get you better fuel consumption that a PFC. More tunability etc. My car off boost is awesome on fuel, can get nearly 600 to a tank now days. On boost when fuel is needed it is there.

The rods seem to be the most common weak point much over 350. Drive quiet and it will be fine over that but what is the point in that? ECU, some will recommend PFC, if you wanna ditch the AFM etc go for a Wolf 3D.

With that set up and ECU should get you in the mid 300's. Just be careful as stock internals don't take much more than that for too long, 350 as you say is good and safe. Also your gearbox would be the next weak link. They would be next major mods. Small mods would be as you say, cold air intake, catch can etc. With the upgrade of ECU you can then upgrade injectors etc too.

Yer I don't mind a nice V8... hence member of Commo Club and sold my V8 wagon earlier this year. Still loved it, just couldn't really afford to fuel guzzlers!

For the sake of my Dad who will probably read this, Mum got a fluro pink t-shirt, Dad got a unlicenced VB Commo, my brother a fake set of plates for the VB and my sister some mud Nah, spent hours on bloomin Sunday getting presents, still got my bf's family to buy them for yet :S I on the other hand got my plates!

The 25k will be going straight to looking after some twins Congrats again!
