Ah so you know where I am coming from. I refused to speak to my parents at first, now I have calmed down a bit. Everytime I look at the Rolla I fume because as you could imagine, it does not compare to the Skyline. One of the forum members here that I have been e-mailing called my Rolla a 'tampon taxi'! Now if you read this you know who you are that sent me that. It was the funniest thing I had heard all day! Oh well, good luck with the 300Z.

Yeah, DAD just said exactly why! If I had my way I'd still have a Skyline! Its okay though, I will have one by the end of the year!

I bought mine with the conversion already done so god knows what one it had in it. But yeah, it was way out!

My R31 was an auto that was converted to a manual. I got it after the conversion was done but I know that if you do it, you need to re-calibrate your speedo as they go out by as much as 20kmph. Re-calibrating speedos is not cheap either.

I think the new Skyline is no longer a Skyline. They don't have the same look and now with the new V6. I dunno, just a new era I guess. I would love to see one for real cuz I just wasn't sure about them in the photo.

I once asked a cop if they can yellow a car for no reason. He said they CAN! He also told me that Subaru WRX can be yellowed from factory. This cop also explained that a yellow means they are not an expert and would like the car proffesionally inspected. You would have to tick the cop of to do that though I think!

Sorry to be a little off the topic here but I am doping someone may know the difference between an imported and the Aussie version of a 90 model Corolla. People are telling me mine is a limited edition import but I can't tell the difference. I am a Skyline fan, NOT a Corolla. The compliance plates don't tell me nothing.

Oh I am. Well I was there. You know, annoyed at my Dad yet happy to discover this sight.

Since having got my licence 18 months ago, I have been hassled. In oe car we got pulled over numerous times. The first was exceeding the speed limit (I was driving a Skline, what you expect) and they discovered bald tyres on the back. The same cop then yellowed the car 5 days later. He then pulled the car over to 'check' the yellow. He then went to pull me over about another 2 days lata when he discovered it was this car again. He had proceeded to go straight. I had turned off, knowing he would pull me over, he went straight. I then went back to the road I was on when I seen him go flying past with his sirens on. Then another week lata he pulled me over AGAIN to 'check' the yellow was still current. I in my whole life, have got 1 speeding fine. Why he was after me I don't know. I had even changed the plates when he called to say that he knew we had changed them. I have now got the Corolla and so for haven't seen him since. Maybe because I took his badge number and threatened to report him for harrassment. Who knows?

Had a 31. Now got a Corolla. Will have another one though. My old standard 3L manual, 86 model ran a low 16 down the motorplex. No turbo's. Car had almost seized twice cuz wrong oil and the gearbox, uni joints and open diff were all had it too. Poor car copped a thrashing, burnouts and the like. Could have killed boyfriend for what he done to it. Car got two yellow stickers in the 6 months we owned purely for bald tyres. Still managed that time some how. Don't know how it still even ran.

You are joking, Suzuki Gti's are for girls. In fact, I am a girl and I wouldn't drive one. Sorry but nothin cuts it like a Skyline. If I had enough money, my Corolla would already be on fire.

Talkin about funny cars tryin to race ya. In my mates R32 GT-R a porsche tried to race us. Now that is a laugh. Blew its doors off. What an embarresment for the guy ay!

Hey out there, looking for all 31 fans! I had a R31 GTS-X coupe. Dad loaned me the money and I was payin him off. Then he decided he wanted the car and took it off me and the cheeky bugger gave me my money back. Last time I put a car in my parents name. Now I am stuck with a 90' Corlloa. Its ok though. I will have my turbo 31 by the end of the year. Just gotta save.
