Talkin about the A/T button as i have the R33 shifter mounted in the 260c and they said there was another button they were after. I need one ASAP but with the button i also need the plug that goes with it and some of the wiring connected to it, would you be willing to send them to Sydney for me? If so how much you want for it. Ive almost finished doing an engine conversion on a Datsun 260C into which ive put an R33 RB25DET and auto box. The car is at the auto elecs at the moment and theyre telling me they need a button which was probably mounted near the shifter in the centre console that has something to do with the auto box (maybe a power/economy style button). So what im asking is for someone who has an auto R33 to check their centre console and tell me what this button actually says or if it even exists and possibly send me a pic of it so i know what im looking for. Better still, if you have one of these buttons and its plug lying around that your willing to part with please let me know so i can get the car on the road. Help appreciated! Scott

Nah the auto box has its own computer which i pulled out from the drivers side kick panel of the front cut. I also have a diagram here that shows the pinouts of the auto plug, just looking for a wiring diagram now.

Just wondering if anyone knows where i can get a wiring diagram for an R33 automatic gearbox computer. My problem is ive put an R33 RB25DET motor and auto box into a datsun 260c and now i need to make the box work without using the complete loom that i pulled out of the front cut. So any info regarding the auto box wiring will be greatly appreciated.

Instead of having 2 delivery lines the same as standard, why not just have one bigger line? Im running an RB25 in a datsun and had to upgrade the line (factory datsun lines arent very big) so i put in a 3/8 line (8mm) and the standard skyline lines are 5/16 (6mm), just to be safe.

What type of oil should I be using in my R33 auto box? I went to get some oil the other day and had to choose between Dextron III, Type F and Type G. Which one should I be using?

On a standard RB25DET the water feed for the turbo comes out of the heater pipe at the back of the motor on the drivers side, then travels through the inlet manifold then onto the turbo. Ive just replaced my inlet manifold with a (fake) Greddy one and also hi-mounted my standard turbo (for clearance) so im now running the water feed directly from the heater pipe using -6 braided line and custom adaptor into the turbo Hope this helps

Exhaust and compressor housings can be rotated the full 360 degrees to get the desired position. And as stated above the oil drain should be as close to vertical as possible

Ive busted the ceramic wheel on my RB25det turbo so im just after another standard one to replace it. Must be in good condition In sydney, can pickup

Problem solved Made up an adaptor plate today out of aluminium and drilled and tapped 2 holes into the plenum.
