  1. A big hit is related to the sat night M1 races no doubt, presenting alot of cough boost members doing silly races up the m1 to springwood
  2. I might be there we shall see
  3. Looks like you been taken for the walk along the Green mile hope at least it turns out alright for ya, btw could ya send some pics or post some pics of the bodgy work?? Cheers
  4. Haltech for stock car hmmmm that can work alwell glad to see you had a good experience, 122 atw kws + 10% factor as compared to other dynos, is 134.2 rwkws still falls short compared to mods that you have. Sorry just rambling Cheers
  5. Price check on front slotted for r33 s1 gtst, plus price check on 4 x ebc reds front and back, cheers
  6. so im guessing your back then?
  7. Well with bigger injectors say 555 nismos you'll be able to screw the reg back to stock without having high pressure to compensate the stockies you have on there probably an overall better tune which may give you a little more power but pretty much near the peak of highflows, maybe 1 or 2 more psi plus what bosch pump u got??? And you wouldnt have a dyno sheet to post up would you?? Cheers
  8. Be good to list a relavent suburb as well... and could possibly be the same people... Sad to hear about it
  9. pods themselves as far as i know are legal as long as secure and covered (85%) or some crap, i got away with it through dot with just a cover ontop not down the sides, thats with the DOT. that was 2006 since just made it slightly more box looking and effective. Steering wheel im guessing the ol doesnt meet adr specs, and for those who have had airbags, definetly a no no as you are removing a common safety feature of the car. I heard something along the lines of exposed metal area on steering wheel or ammount of it??? someone might clarify that area for me a little more...
  10. Just make one out of fibreglass like i did on saturday easy done and cheap
  11. Yes the ol full race, specially designed for twin scroll turbo's There has been a discusion related in regards to these back when disco had the topic of twin scroll vs single or so the alikes of the thread was called. The only problem looking at + 2.2g for one of these manifolds before tax and all are taken into account, still top mounted as far as i can see as well, but very well inpar with kyles (6boosts) manifolds only double the price before you start. Not taking into account the t4 flange vs the majority of people running t3 t25 type flanges. Again really only appropriate type manifold for twin scroll turbos. Cheers A
  12. when vish gets back from fiji
  13. Cough i call harrassment and discrimination of import/skyline oops i forgot "HOONS" drivers... there has got to be a way to show them, considering on the basis there knowledge on such cars, or even testing there worthyness on current adr and dot laws/regs
  14. Hopefully this link works http://www.news.com.au/couriermail/story/0...02-3102,00.html but here is a couriermail article written last night on some car issues.... Also could you explain what you mean defected for front bar? and im guessing the pod thing was unshielded not secure bullshyt, steering wheel?? wtf... BOV im guessing the old its atmo venting shit to air scenario. and exhaust what too loud?? did they have a dB tester there... plus i recommend the dot at zillmere they were pretty easy going for me and bagged out the cops who defected me originally when i first got the car... Next thing is they'll defect because the bug hit the wrong spot on the windscreen... hmm righto... FFS the so called heavy hand of the law is getting out of control.... my 2c worth Cheers and no good to hear
  15. Un sure but i know vic was running a long stint from 21st to the 1st all as DD points, un-sure if qld followed suit or not on that one
  16. I hear crickets.... Ok im going
  17. Tis the season to be ummm what's the word... jolly? Road rage is getting worse and worse these days allwell pretty shyt scenario there michael pretty well handled just think its new years tomorrow hope for a good one. Cheers
  18. Not sure but was there a mention of CAI in your setup dale?? Or if any sort of coating on exhaust housing and or manifold, of which both should minimise heat again to a certain extent its all about reducing the temps at the start as well more so..
  19. A mechanic will charge a fair bit esp if they dont know what they are doing or never have done it before, not only there will be a waiting period especially during this holiday seasonal period, if you have the opportunity get it stored somewhere and do it yourself honestly??.. First time removal/refit should take you round 6 hours giving stuff that may happen along the way, but as described best to source a 2nd hand one before you start to minimise the wait time.
  20. Yep merry xmas people from down here cold south Cheers A
  21. series 1 has a ceramic wheel series 2 doesnt hope that helps
  22. Ummm suggestion would be degrease all connections that may be covered in oil ie starter, alternator, injector looms, well everything that is some what related to electrical and try it after that, as the oil may be influencing on conductivity on components, Just a suggestion?
  23. cold start setup might not of been done properly, next on list the cold start valve thingy, and next reversion back through the afm which i doubt being stock
  24. no not me but i was there 15 min after, aparently not good as there was bits and pieces everywhere
  25. if only we had footage of aca or TT people being "hoons" now that would be a story or maybe how cops are hoons as well ie speeding on main roads and freeways, stories or shall i say facts that are blatantly ignored or have no media coverage on. That would be the ultimate fight back tactic on these so called scenarios.... just my 2c worth
