Hey guys. Looks as though I didn't come back in time to clear up some of the things that were said about Brisbane Turbo & Tuning. When I posted I realised there would be people who are happy with their work etc. and therefore they can tell their story - that fine. When someone feels they get ripped off by someone, then I think that is also fine - what happened to free speach? Nothing defamatory was said, just the experience from my point of view. I think it is sad with other forum members make assumptions and comments about other prople when they do not know the situation. If they posted a few questions, then they may not have made such stupid comments. Like; - maybe the guy in Japan made did something to the car before it came over here - what the??? the car was nearly completely stock and I was running 12psi boost prior to taking it to get tuned... with no problems. - you just cannot please some people - hahaha - When what has been asked for is not done, and it appears they have lied to me, then why would I be pleased? would you? - you get what you pay for - well they were the cheapest tuner that I called, but that was not why I took it there. So by that comment, I did get what I paid for. I am heading to another tuning company next week to get the to check the tune because after the experience I had I do not trust that the tune was done well. I would much rather pay someone twice as much per hour (which I will be) to check, tune and give me a dyno chart readout. It would have been nice to be able to say in the thread that I had it checked and all is well, or say it was crap and that I may take it to small claims to seek compensation. So next time I will say nothing so that no one gets offended and other will also potentially get stuffed around like me.

Well the time came to cross grade to more of a family car a station wagon in fact (Mitsubishi Legnum VR4 ), so the other family car has to go. Good info... I am also looking at getting some tinting done in the next couple of weeks. Will definitley be calling the above mentioned people. As JaiJai asked, Is there any window film brands to steer clear of?

From memory the tunnel is not going to affect anyone that far away. Will have a look at the plans when I go back to work on the 8th.

Thanks... just don't look too closely at the paint. 3 egg marks later and the wifes rubbing the car against some posts and the paint is not quite so good anymore. Will probably see you around as I live on Newnham Rd.

I think I saw you this evening... stopped at the dawson road / Newnham Road lights. Car looks great, although my slightly confused look was due to the yellow station wagon in the lane next to you which made your car look like a R34 wagon... when I got close I realised the illusion. Intercooler has been traded.....

Hey all, Due to certain reasons I am wanting to swap a brand new 600x300x76 hybrid copy intercooler with another intercooler of approx. size of 450 x 300 x 76mm. I haven't got any pictures as it is partly installed in the car but not plumbed in. Reason for sale/swap is that it doesn't fit properly between the indicators in a series 1 front bar without cutting out the back of the indicators. Willing to part company with the cooler for $160-$170 and buy a smaller intercooler. Any takers.... Mike

hmmm... not the answers I was looking for, but I suppose there is no other options really. Or I could swap or trade it in for a smaller cooler that would fit between the indicators. Anyone interested in a swap???

The front mount is aligned as close to centre as possible with an equal amount overlapping the indicators. I was not sure if the indicators could be cut away as it would be quite a decent chunck. Upto 30 x 40mm cut away.

Hey all, On the weekend I was installing a 600x300x76 front mount. All was going well until I put the front bumper back on. I had trimmed the bumper back as required, but that wasn't the problem with the bumper fitting. The indicators / fog lamps on the front bumper (series 1) hitting the intercooler end tanks. So as a temporary measure I have zip tied the indicators in. I need another inch of clearance behind the indicators. The intercooler has been located as far back as possible, and the air con fan was removed to move it further back, but it still hasn't helped. The clearance between the indicators is 620mm, while the intercooler is 660mm total width (incl. end tanks) Has anyone had this problem before??? Is the series 1 front bar different between a sedan and a coupe? (mines a sedan) or is there a difference in the indicator / fog lamp depths. I have searched the forums and it appears that no one else has had this problem.

Thanks all for your reply's... they will help heaps with the install. Is there anyone out there who could copy the relevant pages from the manual (should not infringe the copyright laws to do a couple of pages). Any idea of how many hours to allow to install? Thanks again, Mike

Surely someone has done a camshaft install into an R33... Anyone??
