Hey all, I am looking at the option to install Tomei intake and exhaust camshafts in my R33 myself. I have been searching for any details on how to do it on the website, but am unable to find any details. I assume some of you have installed cams and could give some pointers. How hard is it? does the head need to be removed? Is there a how to install thread? Thanks for your assistance

ABS springwood did mine a while ago... they were the cheapest price I found and did a great job. Very happy

Each time was when driving in different locations. The first time I parked around the corner and went looking thru the school if I could find the bastards. Other two were with wife and kid in the car while driving. The better half didn't want me to turn around incase they threw more. The egg chell actually scratches the paint to the point of leaving bare metal. There is only a certain amount buffing will do. The first egg mark has now started to show some slight rust even though I washed it off immediately and applied some clear coat when it was dry (didn't have any touch up paint). I think if it happens again I will go insane... haha May even take on some of your suggestions

Bummer - sticker design didn't load Lets try again

I am getting very sick of getting eggs thrown at my car... I just got hit again the other day - third time this year and I have had enough. Two have hit the side of the car putting really trendy egg marks down the side of it, the other hitting the front windscreen. I was so angry as it wasn't just me in the car, but my wife and baby on our way home late at night... The cops weren't overly helpful, but I suppose not much they can do. I thought of making up some stickers that can be added to each time I get hit (trying to be a little positive about the whole ordeal). Does anyone want one (or multiple).

Yeh I am interested... I have a 4 door (or sedan which ever takes your fancy.) How much extra will it cost? Which tints available - ratings, warranty, colour etc... Time takes to install? Thanks Ps. Maybe better to add this info to the thread for all to see

Sounds like I will be comming to see you very soon. The next service is due on the car in about 500kms. I am sick of the performance shops prices and the lies I have been told... rant... but I won't go into it here. So yeh I will call you soon to line it up. Thanks Mike PS. Installed mine just next to the steering wheel on the left hand side. see pic below

The photos attached were aparently off a series 2 turbo although is the 45v1 as you can see. Hope these help Mike

When I fittied my system I had similar concerns. Have you had it tuned since fitting it? What ended up happening in my case is that it was running at around 10psi (i thought it was at 5psi, long storey and irrelavent why), when the exhaust and dump pipe went on it jumped to about 13.5psi. The result was that boost cut and overfueling caused a lack of response etc. Once tuned the car is totally different and went from 150rwkw to 180rwkw. I suggest getting it duno tuned to ensure that boost is correctly set and that you are not running too rich. Hope that helps

Yeh street starts with N. It used to be parked out the front on the "lawn" (if you could call those long weeds lawn and now a pile of dirt and concrete), but now gets parked in my parents carport nextdoor.
